When the price was in the 1.15840 area a few hours ago, I have to admit it was a tough decision whether to go Short or Long. It could have gone either way. As it is, I went Long @1.15840 with a tight stop loss @5 pips. Stop loss now locked with 36+pips. Now I wonder over the next days if the Bulls may go for the 1.19000 range without a retrace, atleast not down to my stop loss anyway . We will see.

Update on the broadening wedge:

Turned out perfectly and given the lack of news to move the market a broadening wedge is a sign of uncertainty, where neither participants can move the market in their preferred direction.

The NFP on Friday might give a direction but until then I expect the market to remain in neutral territory and I look at the charts the following way:

We have a down trend visible on the 4h chart (red arrows down), which remains intact as long as price stays below 1.1665 and we have the beginning of an up trend (green arrows up) on the 15 min chart. I expect both to be broken by the market breaking above 1.1665 and then falling back below the 1.1630 area. We will remain in the range between 1.1737 and 1.1574 until Friday and I am therefore looking for shorts between 1.1665 - 1.1685 and longs above 1.1600.

Missed your SL by .00004 of a pip. Debating on moving my SL up to 1.16380 for a 54+ pip gain...if it happens to drop down to that price.

I was sleeping when we were on level 1.165x and shorted @1.16397. Not so much sense to keep it, so closed with +2pips. I cannot see good entry for shorts within next hour

I would to get in on buy as low as 1.162. I still think the price might drop. It couldn’t break above 1.166 and we could retest weekly low again
