What chart are you using? I got 117.95 as the open... everything else is the same... How did you get 117.95?

118.35 is the open candle that came up at 15:30 today (Sunday) and that is the time for every Sunday.

Prices are bouncing between central pivot.

I am waiting for a retrace back to at least the weekly central pivot. However, the high is lower on each retrace.

Right now all charts are sync for the down except for the 1 hour. Depending on the movements it could be within a few minute or a few hours..... What will be interesting is the USD announcement at 08:30 ET. Because the forecast is in favor of the dollar..... We will have to wait and see.

I use Friday's closing because of the distance of pivots. Using Friday's closing will keep it safe when you are using the daily..... Just like today..... it hit the daily at 118.47 and that was then end of the up..... If I had used another closing I would had missed it.

Now we are talking about the weekly pivots only.

WEEKLY = Sunday 15:30 - Friday Close

DAILY = 17:00 – 17:00

Until that 1 hour is in sync leaves a possibility of going up..... So right now it is only a waiting game.....

I found a link that automatically calculates pivots on a daily basis at this site

And .. uses the 17:00 EST closing.

Dove - I'm not sure what's happening - but back in post #2407 you said the daily pivot was at 118.04, yet they have it at 118.11.

Do they have the same H/L/C as you?
