the problem is, its risk free for you but for prop company its risk free when you do a losing trade or have SL set in bigger loss.

If they have no payout issues....I can name 4 futures firms oof top of my head
They don't impose BS rules on the fly...
I consider legit.
The firms I use fully disclose after passing you are on a "live SIM account", which means you are still being paid by the firm.
At some point, whether it may be a $$$ amount, number of payouts, or at their discretion, they may move you to an actual live account.
You mentioned using FTMO? They have NEVER, nor has ANY CFD firm to date put anyone on a live account. For years, they all misrepresnted as such.
Personally, Darwinex is my long term plan, it does get any more legitimate than that. Of course, then the argument becomes, they don't pay enough.
Folks must relaize, if you believe you are trading real live funds, what investor is giving up 80-90% for YOU to trade their money?
When and if the futures firms move you to live, it is generally with your OWN profit buffer you have built....you are simply being moved so you are no longer a liability on the balance sheet......

I've know crypto 7-8 years....we used to trade the same system in forex and I've learned quite a bit from him in futures.
I can't confirm or deny 10-20% daily, but he is an elite level trader.

Yeah buddy we go back a long time. The road traveled hasn't always been so smooth, but persistence eventually pays off.

i would say he dont has 20% each day in average, thats bullshit. he is not so good how you think he is, maybe he is a profitable trader a little bit on the end, this nobody knows. but lets be realistic and dont trust total stupid words (then you can also trust navk with his fake stories)... this would make this thread Comedy.

I tell my wife all of the time....if we didn't live in the US, I'd be comfortably retired long ago with profits from trading.
So frustrating when you know you have the skill set, but external forces prevent your success.
Truly, between hindering my personal accounts early on and my prop accounts later, I can literally blame EVERYTHING on one government agency.
As you said, persistence and determination will win in the end.

Yes, you cannot go wrong with Topstep. Very reliable, 13+ years in biz. It is not mentioned much here, because you can get the same thing for about half the cost.....Tradeify, MFFU, TakeProfit and yes, I'll throw Tradeday in there.......all reliable, have never seen/heard a single payout issue at any of them.

If Tradeday did not have the automatic position sizing algo that allows a 5 contract limit to expand up 25 contracts without firm intervention, then Topstep would be my choice, because it would come down to cost, as both are reliable. However, when you consider that for Topstep you will pay [($49*5) + (5*$149)] = $990 to get access to the same size that Tradeday will give you for $99 + your solid and consistent effort, it is a no brainer for me.

Anyone using tradesyncer here? Wonder if IP becomes an issue for non US customers?

Also, submitted a payout request with fundingticks. Let's see if it gets approved.

Thinking about going with fundednext rapid, blusky, or tradeday. No luck with TPT so far. Failing their Pro stage due to the intraday DD.

Tradeday certainly seems interesting now with more accounts. Makes the 8 day to pass more palatable.

He must be able to buy the world. Without withdrawing his profits daily, his account would be worth $370,000 just after 20 days.

I should stop with my own trading (while not even making $10/day) and give him 10k to trade with? I’ll give him 90% of the profits made and he can open a few more 10k accounts. No-brainer to me!

-To be fair, 2K/day on a 10K account is not the same as compounding 20%/day. I think you may have turned one into the other:

There are different approaches to trading. Making 2K/day or whatever amount does not mean that you do that consistently, in perpetuity. There are bound to be losses. But that does not mean that it is not a viable strategy.

As an example, I know of a few traders that start each month with 1K balance. They trade aggressively for the entire month and pull out all profits at the end of the month. The next month, they repeat the process.

If your win-rate is good enough, then you can do this over and over again, even while sustaining the occasional losses and blown accounts. You do not need to aim for millions to live comfortably, either. It is not realistic to compound the account forever, and this keeps your risk low.

Hello Prop Firm Brains trust! Looking for some advice/recommendations on prop firms for a specific need. I scrolled through this forum and see there is a lot of very tech smart traders... that is not me and so I couldn't quite find what I was looking for.

I am looking for a recommendations for a prop firm company that will let me keep trades open for weeks or even months, through all news events ect. Basically big, long term swing trades, with simple manual entries and exits.

I know FTMO have this option. Any others people think are worth a look?

compounding gets for sure more difficult in bigger accounts, but with 2000/day you dont need to compound, you win with same trading amount same day (no compounding) the 2000/day and get near half a million USD each year with just 10.000 invested - so a very easy 5000% return for 1 year and same time you reduce risk near any day (and lets be realistic , increasing trading amount soft over the year would be without any problem, so real result should be around 1-10 million minimum if this trader existed). thatswhy many would call this talk from cryptosurf beginner level talk and far from anyone near elitetrader.

lets be realistic: of course you can have 2000 USD win when you trade very high risk to blow the 10.000 account , but this you need to mention (without this its simple bullshit talk) and the result will not look this impressive any more.

about this beginners who restart each month with very small amount of 1000 i cant say anything... someday they will trust their strategies more or find other strategies that dont blow up accounts so easy, so they can invest more and earn more than a normal worker (with 1000 invest the chance to earn more than a worker is not that big - when they blow even some of this accounts its extrem low chance ).

sorry to post over here but experienced traders over here seem alot so asking it over here..im from india and use ic markets for trading and my withdrawl got reversed by my bank in india..any suggestions what can i do ? as banks are mostly clueless regarding this issue over here

-In my experience, the people that trade aggressively like this are not looking to compound their accounts over any meaningful period of time; they are looking to withdraw profits regularly, while maintaining very low risk.

The mindset and psychology are very different when your risk is negligible, and with each winning trade, you further-insulate your initial investment. You must have some confidence in your strategy in order to trade this way, I would say. Certainly, it is not for everyone.

As far as earning what a normal worker can, I am reluctant to speak about such things because I understand that some people will never believe what is possible, no matter what.
