34 EMA, Close

There is nothing "special" about these moving average settings (above), they are just a new combination (in some instances) that I happen to like, but I also like many other combinations.

Such as:

3 EMA - Yellow
8 EMA - Magenta
21 EMA - Cyan/Blue

3 EMA - Yellow
8 EMA - Magenta
13 EMA - Cyan/Blue

3 EMA - Yellow
8 EMA - Magenta
13 EMA - Cyan/Blue
21 EMA - Purple-ish

RoadMap:

18 EMA, Close
18 EMA, Low
18 EMA, High

RoadMap:

21 EMA, Close
21 EMA, Low
21 EMA, High

I simply use whichever ones that seem to look the best on the different instruments. But whatever settings I am using for a particular instrument, I use the same settings on every time-frame.

Recently, there have been more and more posts that differ from the content of Post #1. I would appreciate it if a new topic could be created, or if Post #1 could be updated accordingly. I'm not sure whether the core concept has changed, but it's becoming increasingly difficult to understand.

Post #1 stands on its own and always will. However, this thread is constantly "growing and evolving" as was my obvious intention from day one by what I wrote in Post #1 and I intend that it always keeps evolving.

However, I still do not fully understand the core concept or the foundations of this thread.
Just to add, I had also thought that this thread was a clearer version based on Big E (eelfranz)'s “Trading Made Simple”.
I believe that it should evolve based on a clear foundation.

The only basic principle I understand so far is that it aims to ride the trend, or to enter at what appears to be the start of a trend.
But this is more or less a fundamental approach when creating any trading rules.

Alternatively, does this thread incorporate elements from other threads?
If so, things could become unmanageable within this thread.

Please note that I have no intention of causing disruption.
This will be my final question regarding the core concept of this thread.

this thread basically consists on Robinhood giving away his invaluable trading experience for free. he gives tips, indicators, methods you could add to your trading system.

he constantly evolves his methods so it's worth the time you could read all his posts.

It's a pity you cannot grasp RH's explanation.

Copy his templates and use them instead of criticizing his work, the wheel has already been invented, your attempts to reinvent it, will most assuredly fail.

When your profit is 1R, 2R, or 3R, how do you usually manage your gains? Do you follow a specific strategy to secure profits, or do you simply move your stop-loss to break-even and exit when an exit signal occurs?

I always have an initial Stop and I always trail my Stop as it moves in my favor. I often exit when Price hits certain areas such as Support or Resistance, upcoming news announcements, Fed speak, Red Folder news, etc.

If I may, I'd like to ask you two questions:1) I'm lost on the roadmap settings. I tried 18, 24, and 31, and it's very helpful in understanding where we are.
