Trend: Downtrend is clear, with lower highs and lower lows after peaking around 148.

  1. Price Now: 145.946, with a fresh push below recent swing lows.
  2. Structure: There’s a small bounce zone around 145.70–145.90, but the overall direction is still bearish. Previous support at 146.50 was broken and price is not reclaiming it.
  3. SELL/SHORT SETUP (High Probability)
  4. Entry: Enter on a retest of 146.10–146.20 (wait for a weak bounce or bearish rejection candle on the 15M).
  5. Stop Loss (SL): 146.45 (just above the last 15M lower high and above the failed breakout candle).
  6. Take Profit (TP):

    1. TP1: 145.70 (recent swing low and intraday support).
    2. TP2: 145.50 (next psychological support).
    3. If momentum is strong, partial close at TP1 and move SL to break-even for a runner to TP2.

The USDJPY price action on the H4 time frame is sideways at the 147.650 intra-day horizontal resistance. There was a bullish breach of the zone in the early part of Friday, but the bearish challenge that followed was feeble. Nevertheless, we may still see brief southward market engineering before a further bullish drive.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

USD/JPY is very bullish, I see it rising by London session and US session. Strength meter further confirms it !
