Its getting ready to close the H1 bar over the resistance (prev support). Be interesting to see what happens in 7 mins or so.

Price is currently at the daily open line hence the resistance.

Hopefully it breaks... could reverse but I am going to keep holding. It's risk free.

Also crazy how close the BE was to being hit before that move up.

Looking good here

Decided to actually close it though as I am anticipating a pullback possibly to 3300 so I might as well catch the next move.

200 pips but I don't really worry about pips as I calculate entry with a position size calculator so all about the RR.

Today made me realise two things: I still have a lot to work on to be profitable (Had a lot of trades today where I thought I saw an opportunity and went to my SL instead, and those... added up quick), but also realised the prop firm I use is absolutely terrible, both in general and for Gold spreads.

Looking at DAX40 today - with trends like this you'll be extremely profitable with nova wow.

Clean 22.2R from the first nova signal if held to that point.

Look on the chart for when NY enters (crossover) - you'll find price will often trend nicely after. Not sure which times you are trading.

But go back to every day and see the difference. Once that EMA flip occurs you hammer it but like what I did today it's probably easier to just take 1 single trade and let it ride to a HTF POI.

Today was a perfect example of following HTF as I noticed we were trading around 70.5% fib area so on the M1 I was waiting for the signs of reversal which was the liquidity grab and thats when I decided to look to pull the trigger and hold.

Bit of a drag today trading nova on gold throughout the trend but it still managed around 9R and was profitable.

Yes not as pretty as it can be but still... even 2R is enough for most people so it is massively profitable.

As I said before, 1:1 set to break even to eliminate losing but if we took the BE as losses it would have been 6R with 2 positions not hitting yet (? mark ones).

I'd take 6R all day but this is showing everything more or less even low quality ones taking less context.

Context being that the traits of gold, it likes to take liquidity during the trend and only experience will allow you to be more prepared.

I took this trade during Asian Session and got 3:1 RR. It may even continue to the next 4H POI. I don't know if I should jump back in. Lol

Good morning, after yesterday's terrible trading day, I am taking a very conservative approach, had these 2 trades at 1.5R. I have one more DAX40 trade in progress, but I'm not so confident about that one even reaching 1R.

Your first chart shows no reason to enter a long. You were below EMA (maybe your strat is to trade the retrace back?) and there was no signal from Nova. Lucky to get anything.
Also if you state the asset and time frame of your chart it is easier for someone to check and offer an informed opinion.
