I have been trading for quite a while, but honestly i am not a profitable trader at all.. have lost alot of money and have wasted lot of money in trading communities and systems. i have been following this thread since a while and am very much interested in using this strategy. and it will be great to learn from you..Will definitely be active in this thread moving forward..

For those who have watched the YouTube video which is easy to understand,

today' London Open 15-minute ORB is quite nice and it will be one more option to trade TMS 5-Method,

July 01, New York closing soon

- then we have a new day

- plan your trades according to your trading hours

- you need to deal with the intraday volatility when you are day-trading

- it is much easier to trade the Daily

For those are are medium term swing traders and position traders, you need to look at the weekly news and events.

FF Calendar Jul 03 to July 10, for those who are 4H Swing traders. Do you hold positions over this long weekend ?

For medium term position traders, you should be prepared for July, August and September. Keep a balanced portfolio for this 3Q.

Friday July 04, Asian hours

Trading NFP is high risk and as one member said - it is gambling.

NFP created and big 4Hr candle but it had not change the market type on the Weekly.

Look back to the time this thread started in 2011. How many times did NFP fall on a Thursday?
According to the OP' posts he would not have traded yesterday.


4Hr - post-NFP
- after the big candle, no more trading
- can you scalp the 4hr? YES.

Friday July 04,

Just received another disturbing message.
Another long time trader has decided to give-up trading after more than 30 years trying.
He has tried many different systems and methods during his last 30 years including some he found in Forex Factory.
He started at a young age and had planned to be able to trade for living and hope to be able to trade in his retirement years and make money to cover his living expenses.
Big E' thread here gave many such hope but it is not to be. Many have been mislead by thread titles similar to this "Trading Made Simple" etc.

Correct me if I'm wrong. I think Islandfx911's "No Indicator Trading System" is a no indicator version of TMS. The market open momentum rules all.

First trades using this system. Correct me where I am wrong.
USDCHF, Sell at 4-hour new candle, we have a support zone nearby, which could be the TP. Candles are smaller than usual.

All three charts look good - clean and no clutter.

Except if we do the post#647 price action conditions check, then the last reversal was a big candle with small candles, this is consolidation. This is the NFP candle yesterday.
Under these price action conditions, we should avoid trading the H4 oscillators signals.
We should then consider post#11 and trade the H1.
Moreover, today being a Friday, the OP did not trade Fridays for simple reason the reversal will not run 3 to 8 candles by the time New York closes at EST 5pm.
Another reason today is US bank holiday.

When trading the H4, look to the left check Daily and Weekly.

both methods trade with candlesticks that's is the only similarity.

@Islandfx911' NiTS method entries are a lot more aggressive than @eelfranz' 5-Method.

When you trade TMS 5-Method with Stoch and TDI for confirmation, this lags NiTs because TMS entry is confirm swing high/swing low reversals. NiTS entry is on the pullback aka rejection of support/resistance SnR levels.

Both methods works great ONLY when the traders have mastered fine art reading the candles.

You are right, none of these worked. But this was the first day. I am trying to learn this. Hope I'll be better at this soon with the input like this.
