Dislikedhello traders, hope everyone is fine. first i thank IF for starting this thread. without it we would never know its possible to make it. am back to charts to try and figure this out once and for all. am trying to get history data back in 2019 to reverse engineer selfcontrol's trades but i have a challenge with M1 data. most of the data i can access cant go back then, so anyone who can help me and direct me to a source, i will be glad. i see the thread doesnt have much actvity now, i assume many guys have already figured and are on holiday somewhere,...

Disliked{quote} because it is discretionary, what is fixed is only the past decision points, or fls , or kinks whatever you call them, but will you trade a reversal? a continuation? you have to decide what you see as higher probability, and this is subjective. so since decison points are fixed, what you can do is some top down analysis to have subjective bias about direction, and about the environment, is it a trending environment ? is it still a trend but it may reverse? and if it is still a trend what is the depth of retracement?is it a trading range?...Ignored

DislikedRTM is way too subjective and too many terminologies. I can't imagine doing analysis trying to look for all that, it's exhausting and very pointless. There is no mystery because it is not a strategy; it's just a bunch of concepts you learn and go about trying to use them to come up with trade ideas. There are no rules and we don't know if they are even profitable doing all that. Sure you can pick up some concepts like FLs and Engulfs and come up with your own style and rules.
