For one thing never jump into an announcement nor be in before it hits because you just don't know which way it will go..... On this announcement it came in 5 minute prior to schedule.... and that is wrong.

For some strange reason it is not breaking the pivot.

I dont see it happening this soon, but I have been wrong before. Keep in mind we were trading at about 200 pips higher 8 days ago, so I would not be suprised if the Dollar fights back a bit. I usually dont trade until Tokyo time though.

No where for right now. Like the trader just said.... The dollar is fighting.

From here the target is the 117.60

It could bounce hard off that 117.60 as this looks like a stop chase to me.

118.00 was a hard hit and now it is trying to hit the daily for another turn. It may come short of it.

It just hit the central again let see where it goes from here but one thing is for sure it is to dangerous to trade at this time.

if u remember me from last time, i was under water..
thankfully i waited patiently, and now the yen has picked up a bit...

now what do you think the next "safe" target would be for this pair?

i reckon the next target would be around 119.50 before it continues the down trend..

thoughts?

Dow went from -100 to +100. Unreal! I think I'll wait until the Dow closes to enter long. Making sure the dow doesn't drop again.

That was about a 90 pip retrace off the 118.00

At this time I have no idea...... Just have to wait until Tokyo comes in at 20:00 ET

My guess for right now it will remain between the two pivots.
