* I see 1.1358 - 1.1336 -1.1327 as a strong resiatance. I wouldn't be surprise if we see a bearish engulfing on monday.
*1.1327 is monthly open
*We might see 20 & 50 sma cross in coming days.
*Bulls could retest 1.1437 - 1.1475
*I think probability of bearish monthly candle close to 1.117 is high.
*Possible ABC

I have the gut-feeling that a monthly bearish candle is not in the cards. The trend is too strong and look... all the mess around. Consider - the elephant in the room is Japan. (Yes Ata, I will not elaborate further) Trump needs a weak dollar to also sell all his made in US products in the world. We have to be realistic - of course it's legit - look what all the export kings are doing (China, Japan, Germany etc.) And... to be honest, it's not that long ago when we had DYX 80. It all started with the Saudi "War on Oil Shale Drillers".

And voila... there we have it. Deutsche Bank economist Peter Hooper just is describing in his last report a potential way (for Trump) to eliminate 80-90% of the trade deficit. Simply.... by depreciating the USD by 40% (from the current heights). That would mean an DXY back to the 2012/14 area -> 77 to 80. And what was the EUR at that time? -> 1.40xx. So, it looks Trump is aiming to reverse the USD appreciation that was triggered by the "Saudi Oil war" in 2014.

Also, the chart is hinting at it. In the monthly timeframe the Bollinger Band has never been as narrow (~600pips) over the last 25 years as it was last year. The sharp drop at the yearend seems to be just the prelude of the big jump to at least 1.20+-?

Of course, it will not go straight up in one move but be aware I feel a Superbowl match is coming -> Bond vigilantes vs. Currency manipulators.
The times of sleepy moves will be over. Excitement and volatility guaranteed
I wish I would have noticed that trend a bit earlier...

Updated 3H chart. Bullish trend is in tact and there are two strong resistance areas you can see on the chart to be broken before they can challenge the peak @ 1.15730 area

Meanwhile, on H1...

  1. I am marking ~1.1361 area as nearest support... Bears are trying to retest it...
  2. No breakout yet but I still will rinse and repeat buying dips as long as H1 candles open above nearest support...

Morning all, I have a short position from 1.141 since mid Asian sesh managed by trailing now.
Lots of buy orders but not for another 50ish pips, if they don't take in the next 24hours they will expire.
