Roadmap - A Way To Read Markets

I've created an indicator for MT5—it was previously only available for MT4 (RoadMap Trend Band). I'm attaching it here.
I also want to develop an ADR indicator for MT5, but I'm not sure how it works here. Could someone please explain the calculation method (formula)? Once I figure it out, I’ll make it and share it in the discussion thread.

Hello everyone! Just wanted to say thanks for the great discussions here! I’ve been studying the topic of LauraT for several weeks now. Before this, manual trading didn’t work out at all. Now there’s a glimmer of hope. This screenshot is of my last trade.

Missed the London moves while I was working, but I did grab one WTI setup. Price had already tapped ADR and rejected hard, so I looked for a retrace to my friday’s long target at 62.41—right where the 5-min SMA sat, giving solid confluence. Risk-reward was the only reason I took it: I’d close if price shot above the blue momentum line (even without a channel cross). With price already stretched and holding above the 200-SMA, a run back to towards ADR would have made me close the trade.
On a 5 minute chart the price was retesting the 55 EMA from downside:
But on 1 minute chart it did offer a continuation from earlier channel cross. Not the cleanest roadmap setup tho. I probably would have left part of my trade ongoing after the touch if I would have been on my screen.

Tough open today. I forced two trades inside the Asian range, assuming similar breakout to Friday/yesterday and paid for it.
Definitely should have waited for price to break the range high before entering this one:
FOMO flip, still stuck in the range: 
After the second loss I stepped back, waited for a proper breakout, and went long once price traded above the range. Target was 63.223, but CPI stalled the push so I bailed early. Exit could’ve been cleaner, but I recovered part of the earlier mistakes.
Edit: price hit my target, held the channel above the 1-min SMA, and still looks like it could run, but I chickened out...

UC showed my current go-to pattern: Early morning dips under the daily open, rejects, then pops through the 200-SMA into new daily highs.
I got cautious ahead of CPI and moved the stop to breakeven instead of closing. It tagged me out, then marched straight to target. Should have traded like Laura and close ahead of red news.
Checked GU as well, but it was still stuck in yesterday’s late-session range, so didn't take it.

Rough day, but at least kept the losses small. Felt extra drained too after all the running around lately. Missed the London breakouts I had my eye on and had to just watch them play out. Later in the day, got a couple of trades in before other obligations took over, probably forced the oil one a bit.
WTI:
Tried to catch a continuation of the pullback, but basically bought the exact bottom. Gave it a little room (I've experienced that oil loves a fake-out), then cut it quickly when it didn’t come back down.
GU:
Price pulled back to PDH. I hesitated since it looked like a spike breakout, not a clean trend but bought anyway. Skipped UC, even though it was breaking to new highs with the same “test-drive” pattern as yesterday, because I didn’t want both legs of a negative-correlated pair. In hindsight, GU was a counter-move, as it was fighting against the short term momentum; UC fit the momentum picture better.
I’m happy to keep posting if it's not seen as a spam on this amazing thread. The goal is to stay disciplined with my analysis and maybe spark some back-and-forth, not to clutter a thread already loaded with Laura’s gems.

Thinking I might start a journal of my own as it feels like I’m looking for something more than just posting setups. Hopefully one day I can contribute something valuable here, but for now, I’d rather not clutter Laura’s thread with unrelated thoughts.

On Friday, I took a long on GU. The setup wasn’t perfect, but based on my backtests, when the channel stays on one side of the 200 SMA all day and offers an entry, it often plays out well. Entry was a bit late, but with that being the third push up in just over an hour, I figured momentum might carry it through. Price gave it a shot but got rejected quickly. Once it broke below the momentum line and further dropped, I exited. Thought it might bounce from the 200 SMA, but the sideways movement didn’t look promising for a breakout to new highs.

Been swamped with work lately, but using all time i can to trade and to set up a local tradingview (lightweight charts) application with oanda's data to review Laura’s 2020 setups. Being a cheapa$$ by trying to dodge the premium level subscription cost, but also planning to use it for some backtesting. I want to benchmark the probabilities of certain setups and maybe even build in some real-time alerts to help spot higher-probability trades.
As for current trades, I took a step back last week to reflect a bit. I noticed I was getting more impatient, likely from work bleeding into trading hours and stretching my focus.
Didn’t trade Monday, and only took a few setups yesterday. I’m leaning more into this setup where price tests one direction, fails, then flips the other way. Once the start of the failed move breaks, I look for a pullback entry. Missed the second EU exit due to work, but still green overall. 
EJ was a bit more aggressive, but I liked the push into short-term resistance. Got a clean exit on that one.
