@Roscearm - Many thanks for sharing your charts. I found your post # 10070 which describes your RSI settings, but not the length of the RSI Average ? Unless of course the length of 8 applies to the original RSI and then it is an 8-Period moving average of that RSI for the white line. Any insight would be appreciated, thanks.

I have mentioned before and even RH has mentioned this repeatedly, spend time on the charts, it will reveal itself on what works and what doesn't.

Looks correct mate.
Just do this one minor tweak on the Stochs: for the %K, change the color to none. Once done on both Stochs, you should have just the 2 lines for %D.
Those dotted lines will be gone. It will be much cleaner and easier to read that way.

Hi everyone,
I’m new to the forum (though not to trading), and I just wanted to thank you all for the insights and details you’ve shared with the sole purpose of helping the community. That’s pretty rare these days, and it’s really appreciated.
I already use a few strategies in my portfolio, but I find this one particularly interesting—it offers great diversification.
I’ve been going back to the basics of TMS for the past 3 or 4 days, and I’ve noticed that many of you have made some changes to the original method (at least from what it looks like).
Is there any consensus today on what’s considered the best evolution or version of it compared to the 2019 posts?

Since learning these methods I have now received 2 payouts and scaled my propfirm account. I can also say its a really easy way of trading. No need for Extreme analysis. Just some basics and then u wait for the indicators to give u the trigger. Keep it Simple.

Templates:

# 1 (Used on 4 Hour, Daily, Weekly and Monthly Charts)

* The only difference between the two templates is that Template # 2 includes a market Open and Close times indicator, which would mainly be used for intraday trading. Mine are preset with the London Open and Close times and the U.S. Open and Close times (based on Eastern Standard Time). They can easily be edited to suit your preferences and time zone. I like being able to visually see when different markets open and close.

* Personally, I only trade 4 hour charts and daily charts and I only use Template # 1.

Hello all! Thank you for all the great sharings and knowledge. I am learning so much from this thread and currently back testing the setup from the original setup (Page @robinhood).

I have a question: How are you reading the two Stochastic lines?

I understand that blue / green and above the purple-50 line means bull ; orange / yellow plus below purple means bear. HOWEVER, in my back tests on XAUUSD H1 pair (of over 80 trades so far) - the two lines are almost useless in detecting a switch of trend. We would have get stopped out of our trades most of the time with the two lines still in favor color and position.

Is there something I am missing?

I trade the daily and 4H timeframes
Vast majority of the trades are 4H - have alarm set 5mins before the 4H Close with a laptop in the vechile when Im not home.
Usually the only unchecked candle close is the one when im sleeping, easy.
