I feel very certain about EURAUD, GBPAUD, GBPNZD and EURNZD heading south, the are creating a Lower high on H4 could continue tomorrow as well but eventually should head south. Please do you own analysis.

Good Day Reapers

I am feeling overwhelmed. Until sometime back, I was very down with many things going on in this phase of my life — my relationship with my friends and family, the time this needs, and missing out on entries. I felt stuck in a never-ending loop until I completely broke down.

And only after getting shattered, I felt the courage to set everything in a more profound way.

We’re all missing something... until I dug deeper and found some strange things that no chart or strategy can explain. It’s not going to help in any measurable way, but I just wanted to share a few things that have made me psyched about performance and managing trades.
It’s Sunday. Just listening to music, looking at the charts and it made me smile. So I thought to pen down a few things I believe will definitely help many with their performance.

Configuration

What’s your laptop configuration?
Mine is Core i9 Predator Helios 500 (old version), got it four years back.
The account mentioned below, and a few others, I’ve traded on it. It used to be fine...
...until I started facing more complicated drawdowns, and it got harder to turn things around.

Then I started noticing a pattern.
My ping on this laptop is over 250ms.
Profits wouldn’t close when price dipped to the level before shooting back up.
That crazy 1-hour 18 minutes of darkness every day after the D1 candle ends.
Charts would freeze during important hours.

It got frustrating. So I thought of upgrading my laptop — maybe building a custom setup.
A guy from Chennai quoted me $25k based on my requirements.
I considered upgrading my Wi-Fi to 1 Gbps as well. Or maybe getting a VPS with higher configuration. But VPS has its own compromises...
Still, I thought — let’s test this one last time before investing in any hardware upgrade.

Experience

I’ve used a few VPS before — Cloudzy beat them all.
the price is very affordable.
I got it, and to my surprise — the ping dropped massively. Things improved!
But even on VPS, my reaction time was okay-ish. It still had its limitations.

I tried installing Parsec (I have a 32-inch gaming monitor), but couldn’t make it work smoothly. Still, I decided to set things up anyway because its remote connectivity helps me close trades in bulk on MT4, which you can't do on the phone.
I use Trade Manager 4 Pro — nothing comes close to it. Period.

I spent a week setting everything up… until I stumbled upon QuantVPS randomly.
Trust me, I’ve done some intense research on finding quality VPS services and had never heard of QuantVPS.
Of course, I had to give it a try. They had a dedicated plan for Forex. I got excited their look and energy matched my mindset.

BOY O BOY, WAS IT FAST. PING 9 M/S LOL

It was a whole new dimension a VPS that could actually beat my local laptop by miles.
There was still some lag at first. But then I uninstalled my VPN and it got CRAZY.
I swear, it runs damn much faster than my laptop.

While setting things up, I found so many small things that were right in front of me.

Like pressing Ctrl + Y to toggle the period separator.
Or Ctrl + G for grid Basically learn shortcuts it will help you in major ways.

Some old indicators like Stochastic and MACD with a little tweaking I believe I can see zones better now.
I’m usually never this excited, but this just feels overwhelming in the best way.
Can’t wait to start using it on real trades.
Been using it for a month now still testing but I’ve realized a few important things that everyone should know:

Raw Truths

No money is ever enough to cover bad margin use.
Never go beyond 1:100 leverage, ever!
100 trades of 0.01 lot can make you $2K–$3K with much more consistency than throwing in 1-lot trades unless you REALLY know what you’re doing.
NEVER take counter-trades. Even if it shows temporary profit.

For example, a few days ago, I had over 200 trades on GBPNZD at resistance, close to 1.8 lots.
Price dropped ~43 pips. Looked fine...
But then came the "dark hour" when the new day begins. First hour, spread inflated, either stop loss will hit or full margin call.
See the bigger picture.

On a $5K account, if drawdown is ~$3K and margin is near 100% just before a new candle — it’s VERY likely to get wiped out.

Lifesaving Tips

Organize your charts and profiles.
Don’t overcomplicate with too many levels.

I only care about:
Monthly Support & Resistance
Previous Day/Week High & Low

Use a risk management tool don’t rely on terminal settings.

I use PZ Risk Management it's FREE and excellent.

Have a separate profile for ongoing trades, especially if you trade more than 4 pairs.

Don’t measure patience by how long you wait.
Just take trades every 12–16 hours, then don’t look at the chart.
Go do something fun.
You’ll be surprised to realize how desperately you were trying to LOSE in one day when you could’ve won big in 50–70 days.

No counter trades.
You will lose. Every time. even if you win, you'll lose the war.
Wait like Tom Hanks in “The Terminal” — until the trend lets you in.

Have a positive attitude.
It can beat any odd.

Money management is very important a fast one will burn you and a slow one will make you cold enough to freeze cold dead.
Price always goes in one direction but never in one direction but it only goes in one direction until it finishes its move in that particular direction, It just cannot move in another direction. I know it sounds complicated but try to think about it and look at the price behavior.

Started with $10K, added deposits up to $30K
Took a lot of big lot trades early to stress test
Now everything is set, and I believe I’m finally ready to see positive changes
I’ll be updating my trades and stats whenever possible.

Overall account stats is at the right bottom, I looks bad lets see if this can make any difference.

I have entered two small counter trades. I will never post my counter trades; it will end up a liability for me anyway. But the ones I feel confident in, definitely.

GBPAUD — I am looking for a short north leg before it heads south.

AN INDICATOR TO PLOT TRADES & STATS : The one that works best for me is Show Trades by FXSSI for plotting trades it's free you have to download the indicator from their website and put it in MQL5 folder manually and info Plus for stats this is also available for free on MQL5 you just have to install it from the market inside your terminal. There are plenty if you want to use any other.

It doesn't matter if it's a real or demo account; what matters is posting charts and keeping the stats visible. This will definitely add an edge to your perspective on charts and also help many people make better decisions for their trades. I hope this thread adds value to you. Also, I would love any suggestions and feedback to make this place unique, fostering a friendly competitiveness with constructive criticism.

P.S. One day we'll all be gone anyway unless Elon and Jeff make a baby together with AI and it does some miracle, it's happening. I'm not high, I genuinely want our few HTML texts to echo around this forum for eternity, lol.
