I’m truly excited to welcome you to Just Trades a dedicated space for serious trading discussions, insightful chart analyses, and genuine camaraderie.
When I first began my trading journey, Forex Factory was where I found brilliant minds, sharp technical insights, and conversations that shaped the way I see the markets. Life has been its unpredictable roller coaster, and though my activity here came in waves, the urge to connect with real traders never left. This thread is my way of bringing that energy back in one focused, noise-free place.

Why This Thread Exists

Over time I realized my thoughts, charts, and lessons were scattered across the forums, lost in endless noise. Trading requires focus, discipline, and accountability and that’s exactly what I want Just Trades to cultivate.

Here, I will consistently share my own trades, charts, and perspectives. More importantly, I invite you to do the same. This isn’t meant to be my personal journal it’s meant to be our collective workspace a place to sharpen each other through charts, stats, and constructive critique.

What We’re Building

This thread is not about hype or ego. It’s about:

Clarity: We deal strictly with currencies and technical setups.

Accountability: Every chart posted must have entries/exits/stats visible (details below).

Growth: Through analysis, constructive criticism, and shared lessons, we raise each other’s level.

Posting Guidelines

To keep the quality high, here are the core rules

Currency Pairs & Technicals Only

Discussions must remain focused on FX charts, trades, and technical analysis.
No gold, no crypto, no random “what’s your opinion on XYZ.” Stay FX.

Charts + Stats Required

Use an indicator to plot trades and show statistics.
Recommended setup:

Show Trades (by FXSSI): Plots y
our trades cleanly on chart.
InfoPlus (by MQL5 Market): Displays trade/account stats in real time.
If you prefer alternatives, that’s fine, as long as the essentials are visible.
Real or Demo, Doesn’t Matter
What matters is transparency. Post the actual trades as they appear on your platform.

Respect & Constructive Critique

Debate the charts, not the person.
Be direct, but keep it respectful. Friendly competitiveness is welcome — it sharpens us all.

No Off-Topic Noise

Random discussions dilute the value. Please respect the space. Repeat offenders will be managed.

Humor Is Welcome
Trading can be brutal. A good laugh makes it easier. Just keep it thoughtful.

Why Visible Stats Matter

Posting with plotted trades and visible stats gives us all an edge:

1. It removes hindsight bias.
2. It creates accountability.
3. It helps others learn from your actual decision-making, not cherry-picked stories.

Trust me once you start journaling this way, you’ll see your perspective sharpen.

To contribute here, you must follow the chart + stats requirement. If you’re new:

1. Download Show Trades (FXSSI) manually and place it in your MQL5 indicators folder.
2. Install InfoPlus from the MQL5 Market (free).

That’s it. No excuses.

At the end of the day, trading is simple: we’re all here to grow, to share, and yes to make money. But more than that, I’d love for this thread to outlive us, in some way for a few HTML texts we typed between trades to echo across time.

Since Last week EURJPY gave a beautiful trade if you could have only caught!

It's one thing to know and understand trading concepts theoretically, but experiencing them live is a completely different ball game. I've tried to clearly elaborate my perspective on one of my current trades—GBPAUD. I definitely sense that my drawdown might spike temporarily, which remains well within my risk management rules and risk tolerance. But do I expect it to drop further and break the floor? Hell yeah!

4-Hour Time Frame Analysis:

1. Bearish Divergence: Price created higher highs while the stochastic oscillator formed lower highs, signaling potential bearish momentum.
2. Trendline Break & Retest: Price clearly broke below an ascending trendline and retested this area, providing further bearish confirmation in conjunction with moving averages confluence.
3. Stochastic Confirmation: Stochastic oscillator is approaching the formation of a lower high within an overbought zone, further confirming bearish bias.

Daily Time Frame Analysis:

1. Resistance Zone: Price rejected a significant resistance level on the daily chart, which adds weight to the bearish argument.
2. Stochastic Oscillator: Daily stochastic is turning downwards from an overbought position, signaling a strong possibility of further declines.

USDJPY

And I couldn't close the trade—I was busy upgrading my broadband connection, and the technician arrived an hour late. When you're harvesting, every penny counts. Now, I'm forced to hold until price reaches lower levels, where ideally I could've re-entered, but my risk appetite no longer permits it. Looks like today might turn out gloomy. Trading truly tests your ability to manage emotions far more than it tests your chart skills.

Wow, there's been a sudden surge in JPY pairs, but I firmly hold onto my rule: no selling in a bullish trend. Counter-trend trading is a big NO for me!

PS: One web series I'd highly recommend is Chernobyl. Watching it might dramatically improve your trading—even though it's completely unrelated and has absolutely nothing to do with trading. But then again, Forex itself is no less volatile than a nuclear reactor!

Hey Baresmithon, just wanted to share my thoughts on the current standing of gbpjpy. I have gbp/jpy going to 196.68 minimum over this week possibly into the next. Looking forward to seeing if it plays out!
