Trader KGB since my pivots are a little different from dove allience I would like to confirm them with your's

Mina - go to page 80 and I have a link for a freeware software to calculate your daily pivots..... instructions are there with the link.

Tokyo just came in and all indication is up..... once a candle had closed above 118.60 then the target is the pivot 118.83 with retrace on the way.

I have this indicator that calculates pivots right on the charts. Daily pivots, supports and resistance. I checked with the software, and it comes out pretty close to what i see on my charts.

I don't know who wrote it, there's no name, but it seems to work for me.

i uploaded, if anyone wanted to take a look!

I'm looking for a lot of up and down movements before the night is over and also looking for the final destination for the up being the R1 - 119.23 - But as always nothing is for sure.

Right now this thing is stuck between a 16 pip bollinger band and will remain that way until some banker in Tokyo decides to drop a few billion into it. - smile

The band is closing up at 12 pips.... it hit the top of the band at the 54 and then decide to head for the toilet. I'm out for awhile until it decides to go.

Looks like it just broke that tight range, despite the Nikkei & Australia selloff and the US futures under heavy pressure. I guess the housewives are extra busy tonight. The bear in me says the shoe is going to drop when europe opens though (just like last Thursday morning..)

At 21:41 ET I got in on the long at the 118.60 and my limit set for the 118.83

Well, anything is possible but it did break the resistance at the 118.60 which is now a support and headed for the pivot.

If it does reach the pivot it will be done some time during the morning hours and then will I know which way from there.

Looks like the housewives gave in to pressure, time to reverse and go short yet? Tomorrow looks like an unmitigated disaster..
