First you need to develop the strategy with all the resources you have.
Next, to test the strategy over a long time to make sure the strategy works specific market type conditions.
When you have reached the conclusion that your winning strategy in specific market type conditions, then go live.
Mastering trading your winning strategy is very hard work which requires practice, practice, practice. This may take a few years.
The hardest thing is managing your FEAR and GREED.

Yes! I'm currently going through two of his books right now. But like I just said to rose. It's not the strategy that ain't working. It's me following the rules and my rules. I only trade futures between 9 and Noon EST. And I have strict rules based on roses tradingview template and Robinhood entry rules.
BUT sometimes I'm just flat out doing price action(horrible price action that is) I buy, it goes against, I reverse, it goes back against. And so on and so on, then I fall in the trap of my hearts beating. I'm mad. I want my money back. BOOM I SEE AN OPPORTUNITY (small green bar) in my head I see the next 20candles be big green bulls but NOPE.

I'm currently working on my psychology towards trading. Which is why I started saying all this. First I looked for simple indicators. Then I looked for strategies. Then I looked for the holy grail. Then back to looking for strategies. Kept finding winning and losing ones.... Of all the winning and losing ones I've found. This Robinhood method has been my favorite and relatively easy rules to follow. My problem is ME. Lol sometimes I put on my psychic hat and read the markets palms knowing what's gonna happen. Bites me in my ass every fucking time. But now I'm started to be aware of it. Getting better... The impulse control is a challenge to control. Has been my whole fucking life TBH. Maybe trading isn't for me? I don't know... But I do enjoy trading A Lot. It's fun! But I don't want it to be fun. I want it to end up being boring as fuck like you guys sometimes say it is when you have a working strategy lol.
I dunno just venting.

This will also work for CFD trading.

just for one month (March), follow the rules and do not deviate from it. If you missed a trade, wait for the next one. Setup alerts if your strat allows and wait for it to trigger.

i have alerts trigger every hour if not minutes and I still do not take them all. Mainly due to work or other distractions. I somehow manage a trade or two a day. That is enough I guess.

Champ, all the MT4 indicators (& templates) are in post 1 of this thread. Please check there. Better to use RH's original setup.
