I think we are saying the same thing. I wouldn't take a trade above 80, but the ea was doing that. Sometimes it worked out most times not. I will be more precise forward testing next week with screenshots. Thanks for the EA.

I don't quite agree, I believe that cable for instance will still fall 200+ pips (see my earlier posting with the cable chart). Why? Check how similar cable moves have been in the channel. Also the daily slow stoch is not even near the 20 level (which it earlier always reached before trend turning up).
Yen has already crashed to the long term channel bottom and this seems to hold.

I have 16 charts on right now & all are stopped at the 4 hour or day channels. If it breaks them it will be a big run.
The only reason the USD is running now is it is summer.
The news about German banks would not normmally have caused this run.
The USD is week & weekening - I see this as a buying time.

I think the euro will be at back 1.37 in a few weeks & 1.4 by the years end.
& the cable is stronger then the euro.
The CAD will be on par with the USD by years end.
& only heaven knows where the Jpy will be

Nonedisclosure, if I recall correnctly, following Teb's rules, we can enter long above the 80 line and short below the 20 line. As long as the stochs are turning long above 80 line, we're fine to go long, and wiseversa for short. On the other hand, if the stochs is turning short above the 80 line, we're not sure to go short until the stochs cross down the 80 line, wiseversa for short. I believe these are the rules, please someone correct me if i'm recalling it wrong.
till they cross in the 20% or 80% I am fine with it.
I would go one time frame up after they have crossed in the zone.
& go with that ...as the trend
that is untill they cross back over the 20% or 80 % zones

For what it is worth -if you are just starting to trade I think
TEB1 would be the best to start with.
esp. if you use channels . But to be honest the channels are not even needed
- just get out of the trade when the 4 hour stoch turns against you.
it really is very simple.

Yep, I agree what you say about usd long term trend. But now that euro is temperarily falling, I'd like to know the "best" moment of starting to buy it again. If my forecast says that it still falls 200 pips, I would not start buying it now. With better timing I could save those 200 pips, and even more if I shorted euro... (but consider possible upswing after latest long drop).
So, in the end, I'd say that the result of this coarse tech-only analysis depends on how we draw the channels (as i think that we both are using them in a similar manner). Let's take euro as an example. I don't see how the channel could be drawn differently in this timescale? And if we accept that this is our best estimate for the euro channel, it is also reasonable to act according to that.
Note how well the rule "IF price below Q1 level AND both stochs under 20 AND fast stoch crosses" would have performed in this UPtrend (and other uptrends as well).

1. Remove everything from your charts ....I mean everything!!
2. Add two sma 4 closed (Blue) sma 5 open (red)
(if you don't have open & closed then 3 &7 SMA works also)
3. move to the weekly chart get trend (blue & red lines )
4. move to the daily charts to get triggers ( pink arrows)
5. move to the 4 hour to get comformation ( black arrows)
3rd charts
week charts- you see trend blue & red lines only go with them
day charts - are triggers ( pink arrows) & stops (Pink "X")
4 hour - conformations of buy/sell (black arrows)
you want all 3 going the same ways
you are in and out on the day charts.
