Disliked{quote} Right. It would most likely need to be an existing broker that integrates investor facing regulation. I see your point, being hard to duplicate.Ignored
DislikedThat feeling you get when you wake up and remember that you're not using any prop/futures firms {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} If the model is restricted in any way, the offshore futures companies will take the market and the US ones will flop. People need to stop pretending that the majority of traders using these firms are even trying to do anything but gamble. If you cut off the gambling pieces they herd will move. Potentially back to CFD's. I have been predicting a futures implosion for a while now, the market is behaving identical to CFD's but 2 years behind.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Its a very expensive licensing apparatus. I dont think any broker has the appetite for it. When Darwinex got it the process is far easier. Its easier to try to get something similar elsewhere and pass it off as the same.Ignored
DislikedWell, it looks like ex MFFX employee dex just dropped a nuclear weapon on X. https://x.com/Sigg556Ignored
DislikedHello everybody! I am looking for a prop firm that allows news trading and who’s got a good reputation. I have googled this, but it’s hard to know which ones are legit and which ones aren’t. A lot of fake reviews on trustpilot as well, so it’s a real jungle. So I’m turning to you my fellow traders, can someone recommend a good prop firm that allows trading during news hours, or more specifically, allows me to hold my position during news hours, in addition to having reliable payouts. Thanks in advance!Ignored

Disliked{quote} I’m not looking to trade the news, but I want to be able to hold my position if I’m in a trade.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Not correct. Some prohibit holding an open trade for a few minutes on either side of scheduled “red news”.Ignored
Disliked{quote} interesting, i think it must be futures prop firm then. i havent seen cfd prop firms which does not allow any open position going into the news. anyway, to me, it is not good idea to hold open position going into the news like CPI, FOMC unless your entry is 100 pips away and your daily drawdown is balance-based.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I can't recall either of any known cfd prop preventing people from having open positions during news, provided people didn't initiate or close them during the forbidden period. I would say I have my positions open during that time, most of the time, because my trades last hours or days.Ignored
