All I would say is wait for your RSI to close below 50 line. Just wait for today's price action to finish.

I like your success with this. It's motivating! I'm having mixed results for sure.. or maybe it's the psychology of it. I'm attempting to use 4hour and daily charts. I have a tendency to check my trades on my phone. I'll go to bed and I'll be up 20 pips... Then when I wake up I'm down 17 pips... Back and forth. I've only been trading with this approach for a couple weeks now. Trying to keep it simple with my screen relatively the same as yours. Just the original template without all of the added RHOs. Which I'm not saying this don't work. Just started out with the basics of what this thread was created from

Hello. Don't feel alone, I'm at the same stage, although I'm exploring several TFs. Overall, I'm on a 60% success rate.

I've been exploring different TF as well. Honestly I've found my most profitable TF is 5 minute chart between 9am and 12pm eastern time. Only trading the 6 majors. I do it at work( I can have my phone out and peep at r every 5 minutes or so.) I know that goes against what the big guys here are doing on the 4hour and daily. I've just not found success YET on those higher TFs whereas I have been having success at the 5min. Although my success came after I realized I need to STOP trading at 12pm EST. My spreadsheet over time let me know that I end up giving everything back between 12pm-4pm that I made between 9am and 12pm lol

How are u getting 2R 29 wins and only 6 losses...I follow same rules and most of the time price cant reach 2r let alone such high winrate. Looks like ur cherry picking.

Honestly wouldn't just jump out with a cherry picking accusation just cause someone gets better results than You do. Maybe they have more experience and see the chart different then we do. Learn, don't accuse.

Gonna jump on the Analogy bandwagon here..

If you and tiger woods were given the exact same ball, exact same tea, club, course and time of day to hit a golf ball.... My bet is on tiger to get a better shot. Even though y'all are using the exact same equipment.

You are entitled to your opinion mate.

If I had to post just to make up the numbers (although I'd gain nothing out of it), I can show many more 2R trades than 29 and even lesser losses.

I am ONLY putting the scorecard to show others this method works and the posts also help as a Journal for me.

Give me few mins and I will show you all the 2R trades that I dint take (or cherry pick).

With all due respect but I am not here to prove anyone on the profits/losses on my account as they don't win or lose anything looking at my trades. If my results are too good to be true, so be it. Move on and do other things.

I will let others test the methods for themselves. If they cant be profitable, they can hop onto another strategy for all I care.

Unrelated question but are you concerned now that Oanda have been taken over by FTMO. FTMO claim they will maintain the original OANDA platform, as a stand alone unit.

Prop trading firms/systems have sprung up like mushrooms after a storm, and failed just as miserably, FTMO appear to have researched and found a way which appears to be the envy of many other participants in this field.

Anyone care to comment on this most recent development in the trading world.

you do know he posts everything. Losses and wins. Trades he closed early, even demo trades and indiacte demo versus real trade.

Look at all trades and see if it followed rules. If it did, then it is a valid setup that would have won if you took it too. Simple.

I think a lot of Retail brokers are losing out clients towards prop firms as any tom, dick and harry are joining prop firms and willing to lose money in their challenge just to become a prop trader. Probably using/acquiring (either way) a Prop Firm is a backdoor way to lure clients into brokerage firms.
