I managed to get ChatGPT to translate.

Mate, what I have outlined in my previous posts are the most simple rules one can follow for a trading system. RobinHood has made it very simple for us. We just need to learn the rules, practice and perfect it.

I do not use MACD much. I might actually remove it as well. if you check some of my previous screenshots, i do not have MACD on it.

The indicators are very easy to read on mobile. So, it shouldn't be hard to trade from it on the phone. The rules can be applied to any session. So, please give it a go.

If you have traded many systems, give this one a go too. I am sure you will like the simplicity of it.


Try the system for a week on papertrading or demo account. You can also check miron7 posts as well.

As I have said many times in this thread, I use different trading indicators for different reasons and on different platforms, and often because of "WHAT" I am trading. It is my opinion that when regarding the Forex, currency pairs are always just trying to find constant equilibrium of price between two different currency pairs, thereby creating an exchange rate between them. They OFTEN will reverse course based on touching previous support and resistance zones.

It is my opinion that when regarding the commodities markets, the current price is all about the real supply and the real demand and it is a way to allow people to buy, sell, trade or hedge raw materials and primary products.

It is my opinion that when regarding the stock market, that it is the intention of the company issuing shares of stock that the price of their shares of stock always go up. They obviously don't, but that's the intent. Companies issue stock shares to raise capital, reward employees with a share of ownership, and as a way to help them grow the company faster or to pay off debt, etc. People most often BUY shares of stock hoping the companies profit will grow, therefore causing the price of the shares increase in value.

So my point is, you must first realize that often different types of markets were created with different intentions and you have to learn to trade them differently and accordingly, so that's WHY I use different indicators and different templates based on what indicators are available to me, and which type of market I am trading.

And because I understand all of the above pretty well, it is my belief that I can successfully trade any type of market that I know of.

Welcome back RobinHood! I hope you had a good vacation.

The reason I asked for a screenshot is to see what you are currently using. I just wanted it mainly as a reference.
We started the thread few years back and it has evolved overtime. From the past few thread pages I could figure out that people still stick to your original post and the indicators. Just wanted to double check if you have tweaked/adopted other indicators to your method.

Thank you! My wife just needed a breather for a few days, and after breakfast today, back in the hotel room this morning, she out of nowhere unexpectedly said "I want to go home now" so that's what we did.

Trading is my only passion and my one and only hobby. I have many hundreds of templates/indicators as I create them for my own entertainment.

Like they say: "There's a hundred ways to skin a cat".

Without this sounding trite, I have used every way to trade that I've ever shown in this thread, and I could successfully use them all again.

I've shown lots of different ways to trade because different things resonate with different traders. Plus, I evolve and change over time just like every other trader.

Each trader must find a way or ways that resonates with them. But once you "get it", you "get it" forever. They must keep searching until they find what resonates most and best for them.

And lastly, get the win/loss ratio out of your head as it being a requirement of successful trading as it has no relevance to being successful at trading.

If you lose a dollar 99 times out of 100, but you win $200 on the one winning trade, then why does your winning percentage matter at all???

Most professional traders only win about 30% to 40% of their trades, yet they are still highly successful at trading. Their one and only secret is that they are taught to cut their losses short and to let their profits run because when it all come down to it, those are just a very few things that are within their control, along with position sizing and the markets/pairs/stocks/contracts that they trade.

I get what you are saying. Will stop updating the win/loss ratio moving forward. I was just tracking it for any newbies who might ask for the winrate for this method.
I guess it is better for them to practice and find out themselves, like I am.

I think that it is good that you post your win/loss ratio as I am inspired by you posting it and I am SURE that others are too. I was worried that when I posted what I posted regarding win/loss ratios that you would possibly think that I was singling out you, but I wasn't. I was just pointing out that generally speaking, don't be deterred by poor win/loss ratios as it's truly irrelevant...based on how it's being interpreted.

Pleas continue to post your results. Good or bad.

Hi All,

I took this trade this morning. I was gonna stay in it but had to leave for a Drs. Appointment and other trades will come. Should of exited when the 3 EMA crossed the 8 or no later than 21. Yellow line is entry/exit.

Could you please explain to me how you are using the Stochastic indicator at the bottom window of your GBPJPY chart template in your current trading?

I'm very much interested in how you're trading Forex now.

Just spent a month going through your whole thread since Christmas and am becoming obsessed with your thought process in trading as it seems to align quite well with mine.

Might take a few weeks to sink in...

Anyway, thanks so much for offering such amount of experience selflessly to this community.

I created that indicator, and I named it the "RSO" (RobinHood Stochastics Indicator).

I use it in many different ways, so I am only going to go into several basic ways that I use it as I don't want traders here to get overwhelmed with too much information about it at one time.

1. When the blue is above the green line and it mostly stays that way, it is telling you that the market is in a very strong up trend and do not make any short trades.

2. When the blue is below the red line and it mostly stays that way, it is telling you that the market is in a very strong down trend and do not make any long trades.

3. If the blue line is "pegged" above the green line, and the orange line crosses below the red line, and then it crosses back above the red line then it's typically a good time to go long, BUT if the orange line forms a divergence with the price near the red line, then it's typically a really good time to go long.

4. If the blue line is "pegged" below the red line, and the orange line crosses above green line, and then crosses back below the green line then it's typically a good time to go short, BUT if the orange line forms a divergence with the price near the green line, then it's typically a really good time to go short.

There are many other nuances that the RSO tells you but I don't want to go into any more of them for now.

On this GBPCAD HTF trade based on the same rules. Its a wait and watch game if it will go all the way to TP.

Probable trade:
Watch for EURGBP short trade next week based on Daily setup. Let me know what you guys think of it. I think it would be good if we post trade idea here.

This is based on the continuation trade. RobinHood correct me if I am wrong.

I tried doing it myself. I learned c+ a little while ago and successfully coded a really dumb version of flappy bird but with a hotdog instead. That made me feel like I have coding COMPLETELY DOWN. But I was wrong and have ABSOLUTELY no idea what I'm doing. I tried using co-pilot for over an hour, back and forth with errors and garbage. Then I tried Chat GPT and it was even worse. I even copied the entire code and hand fed it to both of them just asking them to adjust the code and add parameters that would allow the RSI line to change colors, didn't work.... SO, figured I might as well ask the guy who created One of my favorites anyways. lol (If you see on my screen, the RHO-NOALAR just means it has no alarm. lol I TRIED to get the alarm to stop working but it would never save. So, I edited the code to False instead of true and renamed it to NOALAR and forgot to put the "M" Disclaimer: I claim no rights to your code, its just a personel save file that made my life slightly easier

I do not write code in MT4 so I can't help you there. And I agree with you, I would like to see the RSI displayed as green when it's above and red when it's below as I would find that to be more visually pleasing also.
