GBPUSD 1st Trade 1st Loss

-> SL hit // Sl put at the top of the 2nd candle before the entry one

-> Maybe the fact that the previous close daily was blue + Closed higher than the open could indicate a possible reversal.

This 2R trade worked out nicely. Look at that drop. i wish I could trade the NY session. It always has some nice moves.

Just one trade loss does not hurt. Learn from this and move on.

Learn to live with many trades losses.

What is important is when we lose, we only lose 1R.

But when we win we win +2R and more.

After 1,000 trades then we will know if we have the statistical edge the way we trade.

Learn from this trade, how to pick better market conditions and trade.

Like the OP said in his many posts, trade only the CONTINUATION. Pick the CROSSOVER trades carefully.

Look at your Daily. The candles are within the 5EMA and the HMA. Both HA candles are small body, must observe the OHLC of the price of every candle.

Your H4 chart shows swing highs and swing lows. There was a big candle and small candles ... that is market consolidation.
How to trade this market type condition?

Can you trade H1 and below ?

This was a good trade on Gold. Trying to find high-probability trades that doesn't take long to play out.
All these attempts are trial and error for now. i am sure the indicators tell the story, I just need to find time to understand it better.

Nah, this one is already closed at 2R buddy.

I usually trade 5 mins mainly based on the indicators without HTF direction as I am doing just the scalps. As you get some nice trades in both directions. The recent screenshot is a perfect example of this. I am not advocating everyone trade the LTF but saying there are lots of opportunities if you know how to read the indicators and wait for confirmation/confluences.

Having said that I also place swing trades based on higher TFs, usually 4H or Daily.

Yes buddy, its Stoch. Just trying out for additional confluences. This is still on trial mode.

I was reading a post from RH about him using the stoch and trying it.

Hello, Thanks all of you for your hardwork and dedication to this! Ive been lurking this thread, but im having a hard time finding someone to explain the TMMS oscillator. Ive kinda got it somewhat figured out. Just confused on the dots. the red dots and blue dots, and the white bars. Can someone point me to a post that possibly describes these? Thank you

I was going through the PDF that RobinHood had posted on Post 1 of this Thread about Big E method.

I am copy pasting the below info from that regarding psychology.

Psychology
When learning a new trading method you've got to give it 6-12 weeks. You have to start feeling comfortable with your decisions. It takes that long to build confidence...

If your not willing to devote that much time then why even start it... just move on. Every time I enter a trade I Expect T o Win.. . right from the get go . If I'm not sure because of what I'm seeing I'll pass and find another set up... therefore the wheel
barrow is required equipment to trade this simple method...

You can't get different results if you keep doing the same thing over and over.. . just ain't gonna happen anytime soon.. .

Potential reversal on the horizon? Am i reading the Convergence correctly? I know it's not a guaranteed reversal, but potential one to be on the lookout for I'm thinking.

I think from what I understand, you need to draw the trendline on the first window on the lower side of the price for identifying bullish reversals.

just my 2 cents.

and yes, looks like a short term reversal for EU is on the cards.

Oh. I'm still learning this stuff. The divergence and convergence thing is just kind of starting to click. Still trying to understand how to utilize it and profit some pips lol. Appreciate your input!!!

Not trying to point out something to be rude, just trying to understand something i feel like im missing. This is a screenshot from that site when it comes to hidden divergences/convergence.
