Analysis and Trading based on Envelopes, Waves, Cycles
Some of the cycles I keep an eye on are of a planetary basis - Ignore the price action, it's an old screen shot that I've not bothered updating price (as I have to reposition the date lines which is a hassle), the dates are key, you can check out price action on the dates listed - some are hit and miss
This year we have 2 such cycles due - of the 2 the OCT date is the more Important, but you just never know what will happen - As it says on the chart it ought to be some kind of LOW point - time will tell, Last time this occurred was late 1994 - this time around we have 9 years to go to the end of the UP cycle, in 1994, it was 5-6 years, so the game is slightly different this time around
The chart also references the 666 cycle this is due Spring 2026, this aligns itself with the April 2026 cycle too, so another period to watch (see 2nd chart)
Here's past performance of the beast cycle (This is compromised of multiple planetary cycles, as you can see when they all align, it can get interesting) - I have the exact dates which I'll publish closer to the event - right around this time cycle date we also have the WAR cycle date due too, so we'll have multiple time cycles arriving around the same weeks/months
These are just what I term "Internal" Time Cycles - They can be hit and miss!
The outlook for the SP500 (USA markets) is messy for the next few years, so it will be Interesting what and how it all unfolds

In the prsent chart the Amplitude of the Envelope 1536 ( 6 years) is 1.562,5
The Low is 600
The Top is 6.000
The Underlying Trend contributes to 70 % of Price Action
The "Cycles " (Oscillations around the Trend) contributes to 30 % of Price Action
Common Sense concludes every Trader of the SP 500 dy should at least spend 2/3 of its time and energy to identify and confirm Trend

As everybody shoyld know here for me there are no "cycles" within Price Action As already underlined most analysts do not define what is for them a "cycle". As already quoted Eward Dewey has adressed this question in the 50's Rythm; Cycle, Wave , Periodicity, Vibration, Frequency etc that is the point. {image}
A cycle can be anything showing repetition
This cycle based line captures Dewey's Rhythm definition perfectly.........................
Static cycles (multiple and of various length), from 1900 on the DJIA, show a pretty accurate picture - its not perfect, but it has done exceptionally well of capturing key times in history - any cycle method that captures the really big key points in stock market history is something that needs to be valued
You can then project the cycle projection red line out hundreds of years into the future should you wish

A little experiment I thought I'd post for all to see. It may not work out as there are many variables making price movement quite complex and perhaps I'm oversimplifying things, but here goes.
Assuming I have
1. My focal point in the correct position (yellow circle), and
2. The pink cma passes through the focal point
Based on the angle of a line between the current pink cma and the focal point, I've marked where price should be when the pink cma reaches the focal point.
I've also marked where price should be when the white cma hits the focal point, with the same assumptions from above.
If this works, we will have the ability to predict price into the future reasonably accurately.
ps. it may be necessary to make some adjustments as the position of the FP becomes clearer
