Interesting. I've just been using them as targets/supports/resistance/etc. I'll have to look into it more.

Ok..so middle pivot is 119.30. And if it breaks that you believe it'll get to the 119.70 pivot. How do you know it won't go to the 118.59?

Once it hits the daily pivot at 119.30 it will then determine which way it will go. Your major play is between the daily and the central pivots. once the candles get in between these two pivot then you wait to see if it travels above the central or below.... if it travels above the central then it will have a mark of the first pivot.... may it be the daily or the R1.... visa vera for the short.

Right now it is knocking at the 119.13 again and if it does NOT break through this time I will take my profit and go home.

OK - it broke the 119.13 and on now to the 119.30.

I applied it to GBPJPY and snagged 30 pips. USDJPY I got in late and I just took 1 pip. I'll see where it goes from here and then jump on past the break.

Well, traders - if any of you had follow my que you would had already made 100 pips on this trip up. I took my profit at the 119.20 and getting ready for bed to start a new day tomorrow.... When it hits the 119.30 start looking for a major retrace... it is possible it will continue up because the upper trend line on this down is at the 120.20 which is another 100 pips.... good luck

Blah.. It fell so I aimed for the pivot..it went past the pivot so I opened another short position...Not a great idea.

Alot will also depend on the USD News this morning... more positive news is coming for US in regards to GDP report than negative, so chances are this will go back above 120 after the news... will it stay there? Depends on if the Stock Market has a recovery in my opinion because asian markets were down all night.

This has been a volitile week for currencies due to news after 2-3 weeks of channeling.
