i haven't written anything here for a while. in the summer i limited my trading frequency to one trade per day with GU and i have kept this up to now. the advantage is clearly more time for other things and less stress. performance does not suffer either. the disadvantage is that there are a lot of losing days, i.e. just under 40%. but that's simply down to the maths if you only do one trade a day ;-) merry christmas to you all and happy trading !

FOMC - FED cut is locked in at 25bps....(95%) so no surpises on the number. The market mover will be the meeting minutes , dot plot and the number of cuts planned for next year. The statement being dovish or bullish. The market has priced fewer cuts than the FED has so far indicated. If the number of cuts isn't revised down the USD goes up....if the market believes the FED can continue to cut rates as planned next year. With EUR and GBP sitting on major support this could be when they break. If level of rate cuts is reduced then the market is proved...
