The squeeze is telling. I see bullish volume pumping in during squeeze.

Shorted GBPUSD on H1 , surely will go up lol

Here is today Dow Futures 5 Min TF.

Notice how the:

1st Buy trade(X) gave me a nice Profitable pips(+60 pips), but ended up in a small loss.(-25 pips) No MindFuck here, just following the plan.
2nd Sell trade (V) reached full TP for today.

This will be my last post for awhile..I just wanted to show how real trading works.

I did read your comments. I know traders that use indicators and are successful and then I know some that just use the charts with nothing mut PA and maybe a EMA and are also successful. But I thought you had some double top secret indicators that you were comfortable with over the years. The ones the MI-6 guys said they could not share with me as if they told me they would have to take me out. You just did not want to share what they were at the time. Me I use indicators. But very simple ones a long with market structure. but hey what do I know.

Who predicted Bitcoin would get to $100k?
Who predicted something big was going to happen days out from 9 - 11?
Who predicted the 1927 share market crash?

The Bollinger Band Squeeze predicted them all if we were all paying attention.

But if you tell me you tried the Squeeze and loss a few trades, do you know this

There is a 42% chance you will lose 7 trades in a row on any trading strategy.

Hi RP, Happy Anniversary.
When you come back from celebration and have a chance, could you please take a look at your chart where I have marked in red at around 7:50 why no entry to go long -- Big green candle that broke above previous green bar pivots; Prior short trade was a small loss; ADX bounced off a low; End of a Squeeze, and RSI shows bullish divergence. All pointing to a possible long entry. Though hindsight shows it would have been a losing trade; so my above reading of the chart is flawed. My question is, what were reasons that you did not take a long trade there? Thank you in advance for your insight.

This year on a phone , I trade the US open standing on a frozen lake in the Arctic Circle in sub -45C temperatures just because I could. The Squeeze setup is IPhone friendly.

Hi dbdan

The one you see above is on Trading View mainly because I wanted to show a Squeeze Pro indicator that costs nothing - totally free.
If you buy the official pro indicator, it's about $750 US which is no good for anyone having a practice to see if they like it or not.

Personally, once you understand how it works, a naked Bollinger Band with a few Trendlines added to your chart is just as good in my opinion as the pro indicator.
The real skill is having the right traders mindset and accepting a few small losses till you nail the good setup. An example is EURUSD which I have mentioned last week I believe its due for a big bearish Sell off. I got into the trade Short, twice having my stop hit above the band before I nailed the good Short lower on Friday to profit from the three trades. So that was two small losses before achieving the larger win to end the week green on EURUSD.

Glad, you found this 50/40/10 early in your trading life, perhaps you will walk away with profits at the end of it...I am sure hundreds of people looked on this thread and 95 out of 100 went looking for perfect indicator.

There is no such thing, all indicators are garbage, they show the facts in hindsight, including every indicator and spin on it in this and other threads.

Chart looks prefect to me.
You can see where they took my stop, at the Fake Out area. It was a large position so I had to have a tight stop unfortunately.
Which proves if I had used correct position size, my stop would have been further away (or a mental stop instead) and I wouldn't have taken a hit.


So I failed on the MM with that trade but it was my first loss while taking shorts during the nice long term bearish move.

My rule of thumb is locate the Squeeze (that multi time frame indicator in the bottom corner is fantastic) and get my Trend Lines in straight away.

Hint - Trendline users get mocked on Forex Factory by naked chart traders so I don't post them normally lol.
Actually I created a thread on another Trading Forum about 6 years ago about Trendline trading which was called "Trading Target Candles". It contained about 2000 posts in a Stock trading Forum before I got bored with it and moved on .. Luckily only one trader here on FF has asked me about it.
Just reviewing that old thread now and Gee it was actually pretty good ha ha

Thank you very much. Squeeze is very interesting!

Do you think it is good to trade FX on other timeframes like H4 or D1, or just focus on H1? Trendlines and Moving Averages are very useful.

We study and work hard, but often we don't understand that the mind is the biggest part of the business. Now that I'm understanding this, and understanding that there is no other way. I need to develop my own system...

The big secret is to find something that you feel comfortable trading, and trust on it.

Just did some sampling waiting for the trendline break after a squeeze, and you're not joking huh. Very accurate.
