Entry was at 1.5662 (the daily pivot was 1.5657) exit was at the bottom of the weekly average range (WAR) based on 1.5752 being the high for the week. It was also with in 4 pips of the S3 for the day. The red tags are S1, S2, and S3. Blue tag is the daily pivot

We're heading to great levels for longs. Afterall what really changed in terms of the fundamental interest rate spread difference btw RBA and BoJ. Plus many are forgetting that the RBA still has a tightening bias.

AUD/USD
if it makes it passed .8500, i think it will drop to .8200 and then resume it's previous uptrend from 02 apr 06.

will see soon enough.

It's at 8503, so 8500 is gone. There's some rumor of AUD/USD intervention.

which way though, i think we have seen the fast rise due to all the issues with USD, but now AUD wants to get back on track in the previous calm pace. (long term should be long, aug most likely short)

The AUD should be around 80 versus the USD. FWIW Aud/Jpy just hit 1st fibo level at 23

Looking at the charts the AUD is on a tremendous run, what i should've said is that even if it hits 80 it would still be at a yearly high or multidecade high. So my thinking is that it will hit that level before markets start to seriously consider whether to price it up again. Just my theory, nothing scientific there.

makes sense, i was looking at Fib support with a nice round number and a meeting near to the trend point. I like your numbers better, easier on my longs.

not trading this pair currently, my charts show short but only in the lower time frames, also Jpy gaining against the dollar so finding some strength from somewhere.

Too many pairs to choose from would have liked to been on this at the top though.

Friend of mine is in since 107. FYI small retrace now, not nearly 100 pips, again better short levels imvho. I think this pair's gonna tank brutally. What will be interesting is to see what, if any, effect the Japanese elections will have.

had a look at aud/jpy, my signals say short so in at 100.79 with a trailing sl of 50pips and a target anywhere below.

lets hope your correct about the drop.
