As a result of the election, the ruling coalition of the Liberal Democratic Party and Komeito lost their majority of seats, which has led to political instability and made it difficult for the Bank of Japan to raise interest rates. The value of the yen will fall.

Considering how bullish and strong USD/JPY has been for the last several weeks, USD/JPY is eyeing or targeting 154.545. The daily timeframe shows that an overreach occurring due to a breakout from a trendline that occurred on the daily chart several weeks ago. BUY USD/JPY !!!

USDJPY price action on the daily time frame went sideways as it effected a bullish charge towards the upper trendline of the rising channel (purple) within which it is consolidating. The technical impulse favours bulls more than bears.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

The slowdown in NFP this time may be due to the effects of hurricane damage and the Boeing strike, so it is difficult to say that the US labor market has slowed down based on these figures, and it is unlikely that the US FOMC meeting and Fed Chairman Powell's press conference scheduled for next week will be overly dovish (US interest rates are likely to rise after the US FOMC meeting, which will lead to stronger US dollar buying).
In addition, with regard to the latter (US presidential election), since both Trump and Harris have pledged to implement significant tax cuts and fiscal stimulus, the ripple effect is basically expected to be a rise in US long-term interest rates, which will lead to US dollar buying.

Of course the elections might toss a wrench into plans made prior but further out I was anticipating mid/lower 140s by end of year, time and the zig /zag will tell. No matter I'll take 160 as well.
