So there's 50% of the trade at 3R = +1.5R . By the way what happened to don't move to breakeven, just set and forget?

You do not understand my post.

To maximize profit, you must be prepared to give back to the market 50% of what the market gave you.

If you want to trade with "set-and-forget' you do not need to do move the SL to BE+. Leave your SL at its initial SL level. Just wait for the market to decide if you get TP +7R or -1R stop loss.

You can be very rich after 1,000 trades.

Oh I understand your post fine. Yesterday you told me I should not move to breakeven and to set and forget. Thats not the way I trade, just like its not the way you trade SOMETIMES. I prefer to stick to move to breakeven at 1R and then take 5R on the whole trade. Its the way I have tested and found to be the most profitable in the shortest amount of time, for the timeframes I work on, once you start splitting trades you are taking down the true R:R and I prefer not to do that.

Have taking this Long positions. Wants to hear everyone's voice about the trade to see if there is anything in my analyze that I missed or didn't covered.

The big environment of this trade is that it is A/U 4H. The alarm gives an TDI green crosses red so open the screen and see. I have putting three photos. 1 is the trend of the trade in short term. the other one is the overall trend, then the candles.

Overall Analysis:
About TDI and Stoch:
The reading of TDi and Stoch are strong. The Angle of TDI is an 12-2 and stoch confirms.

About trend:
First is an down trend in big environment on 4Hrs, keeping getting LH and LL. The short term trend is also down trend. But this down trend has gone for an long time and reach to its strong support level in bigger picture, we could see that an mountain forms. But this strong support might giving enough momentum for reversal(even though 80% of reversal in an clear trends fails.)

About candles:
When looking at the candles, An green doji bar forms, this doji bar stops the market, but compare to previous reversal, this doji bar is very long wick. we could see the wick is so long that can even cover the previous red candles for several bars. The top wick is longer then previous reversal bar a lot, the bottom wick states that this wick stops within previous low point, bear failes to breakout.. Gives an possible signal of and reversal. But 5EMA still flat, signals an range or side way might be forms.

Even though its an down trend and 80% fails reverse, but still when looking at this, thinking of taking an chance to try and see if my analysis are correct. I think its an reversal. Setting an R:R of 1:2 in here and see how it goes.

I would never take a long trade in this massive downtrend. It's just my personal experience. Easier to lose than win. If I take this trade, I will monitor it and minimize my entry, and I don't enjoy doing these at all.

An EU buy trade from last night, I got to it a bit late so the stop loss was quite a bit bigger than I would normally like on EU so I set it just below the next weekly pivot which was roughly 3.5R
