The fractals and S/U, that's the key point I am trying to figure out. I am confusing about how to determine an fractal and S/U, that's why I am stepping into the Al brooks. In the approach of Big E, he states that when TDI green crosses red and see the reversal of two candles then step into the market and when see hooks or reversal of TDI then step out. But several time I step in and the trend reverse quick again. So I am trying to see where did i get wrong.

As you can see the graph of 1hr in E/U. There were lots of trade that actually doesn't earn any money. I am thinking is there anything I have missed.

First thing to note is the DST DayLight Saving Time shift which took place last night.

Today Frankfurt Open will be one hour from now.

I agree with you.

The OP of this thread made it very clear in all his posts what is Trading Made Simple and how he used just one moving average, Stoch and TDI RSI price line for entries and exits. Any thing more would make trade made simple more complicated than it already is.

So we keep trading simple and follow the OP's posts. Build confidence through lots of practice, practice, practice, ....

Yes. If you want to scalp that.

But corrective move will not yield a +5R to +9R .

Therefore we trade with the trend, we buy the dip.

If we risk $200 per trade and take profit +5R

we grow an account very nicely in 500 trades with a Money-Management-Based strategy.

In a down-trend, I would wait for the swing low and the break of candle1 of the swing low then follow-up with a pullback and then a new up-trend.

Weekly and Daily both down trending

H4 swing highs and swing lows ... that the natural flow of the forex market,

IF you take every trade with a Risk to Reward of 1 to 5,

risk $200 per trade and do your trade Position Size,

you can grow your USD10,000 nicely over 700 trades and the Win Rate is only 27%ish

2 attempts on gold yesterday, first one went back to breakeven, second went to take profit this morning, 1:5RR, set the take profit just under last weeks high and it just about made it.

The point is, do you think its a good entry. I usually find, look at a trade, look at the reasons to go in and if you say the word but while looking, like for example, it looks good but it's near a previous high/low. then give it a miss

My compliments. Sometimes, even with good setup, SL is hit too early and then trend continues to TP ...
