EURUSD pair experienced a further decline today, following a failed attempt to break above the 1.0800-1.0792 resistance zone. The pair reached a low of 1.0761 before finding support and rebounding.

The overall bearish trend remains intact, a daily close below the significant support level of 1.0777 could signal further downside pressure. Key support levels to watch are 1.0745-1.0750 and 1.0718 (weekly S3).

However, a rise above the 1.0807 resistance level could indicate a potential for a larger correction, with a potential target around 1.0872. It's essential to monitor the daily close and price action around these support and resistance levels for clues about the future direction of the EURUSD pair.

Bought some gold at 2716.
will look to buy more if it goes lower.

Dixie weekly.

Running into some resistance now....weekly close will be telling. Break of 104 on the daily was impressive.
104.868 should stop it for awhile...if it gets there. PMI could do it
Pushing for more shorts on GU NU and EU in the meantime. TP as I go...

Watching closely for a D1 close or rejection on trendline . Around 1.07647

EURUSD rose to 1.0790 after hitting a low of 1.0761 yesterday due to a stronger US dollar. The 1.0805/1.0811 resistance zone is currently holding the downtrend, with further downside potential at 1.0745/50 and 1.0718. If the euro breaks above the resistance zone, it could rise to 1.0838 and 1.0872. Have a great day!

Can you tell how many days you use for your daily average calculation, just curious.

Its from CME.

Calculates the future price * volatility and it divides with 251 working days. Its complicated!

ok thanks for that, will have a look, the reason I ask is that eurusd has had low volitility for some time now, 65 pips isnt a recent average. But basing on 251 days explains it.
I like to look at the last months worth, more relevant for me , ....which shows a tighter range ....and so for me it signals a break out is due.

I dont use monthly but I share every day the pips range according to volatilty.

Maybe if you make an average of the last 20 days you figure out something?

I'll share the last 20 days for you!

Yes thanks....stop loss just at BE and happy to leave it for some time...hopefully. I still think a close election result ....regardless of winner will result in uncertainty that will positively impact gold.....more so a Trump "only just loss".
regardless some of the the instituitions are talking about gold at $3000 first quarter 2025....

Things are mixed. I was waiting some more pips but resistance is holding yet. Thinking to try a short here but its not the best option at least that is what I think now. May change my mind later. A break above 1.0807 should give bulls 1.0838.

I expect the dollar lower but I guess the pivots can work, and if not then at the next resistance,
