Maybe.... BUT ECB dropped interest rates, remember? So, the drop is a natural result since nobody wants to keep EURO until new opportunities show...

Not a bad idea. However, I personally stopped rinse and repeat selling for this one since price moved down 400 pips...

I have my personal reasoning and now waiting for a bull trigger!

I can appreciate that.

Something I have heard very little about on this forum is how cyclical 'volatility' is. We could be entering another volatility upspike, stretching out our perception of what is 'regular'. I still hear the voices of posters that couldn't believe what the different pairs were doing during the different bubbles bursting.

Not saying that is what this is but that volatility has been low for a few years now. Cycles repeat. There will eventually be 200pip days. Central banks can't avoid them forever no matter what they say.

europe open didn't hold for anything, straight down, NY straight down again away from minor resistance @ 87/91. Given recent daily range, I'm sitting aside.

I hear you... Many members and friends here know well that I am always insisting in trend following: rinse & repeat doing the same one directional action until it fails..

BUT.... I also do research to detect certain cycles as you referred to. My goal is to be able to catch invisible reversal points based on distance, if such exist... I didn't come to a conclusion yet, since I am still studying those, and I am therefore not risking too much whenever I open counter-trade orders. Once I am done with my studies, depending on the result, I might stick to 100% trend-following and ditch this trial, but for now I keep my hopes.

I think today's London close may be start of bullish wave
They are not going into red data
With an obvious buy atleast I hope not
I am looking at one more push down for the day. .0750 is the trendline support.

There is a potential for a relief move but we have to clear the 1.0788 on an hourly and daily basis. The DXY is also rolling over from 104.5, so there is a pretty good chance. After such a long slide that should be in. Also good to see the bounce from the trendline...

Well, for me it looks that EUR 1.0762 is for the time being a substantial battle line. I can see that for now the USD selling is shifting to the other currencies leaving the EUR alone. A sign that the 1.0762 line is quite respected.
If that is enough... we will see. I think the decisive day will be tomorrow with all the PMI's.

we just have to enjoy, we hardly ever get such structured run to one side, there isn't even that big pullback to throw the ball the other way to see if we run after it.
Ok, it looks like the same playbook as last Thursday, daily low on London closing but US low cannot take out that low made during London time...

That points to a bounce back to 1.0811. Let's see.

UPDATE: Beige Book came out painting a sluggish picture. Since Powell is relying on this source (by his own words) that raises the questions of continuous or more drastic (0.5%) FED cuts ahead?
That would mean if the Europe PMI data tomorrow coming in just as expected (or better) -> the long-awaited bounce in the EUR might occur.

I mean no disrespect, but your demo trades do not reflect these opinions.
Could you possibly post some live trades?
We have only seen demo trades wiped out on several occasions so far.

EURUSD is still extending its decline amid the strengthening dollar index DXY, even though the RSI has shown prices entering the oversold zone, but signs of reversal have not been fully confirmed.
