I am just starting to look into automated trading. Still researching and have not decided which platform to use. The only think I know is that I want to develop in Python and not MQL.
I have looked into MT4, as far as I can see you have to use some sort of "connector", which seems like an unecessary complication.
I have looked into MT5, as far as I can see there is a Python module so you can use it directly with Python (disadvantage, I guess isthis is not the primary FX Platform).
If my main requirement is to use Python. Should I use MT4 or MT5? (I am also open to using another platform if you have a suggestion for anything that works directly with Python)
