EUR/USD experienced a bearish week, failing to break above the key resistance at 1.1201 and reaching a low of 1.1043. This decline has almost faded the previous strong bullish weekly candle, indicating increased bearish pressure on the pair.

In the near term, EUR/USD may continue its downward trajectory, potentially reaching the 1.1000 or 1.0950 levels. On the upside, immediate resistance is found at the 1.1100 - 1.1098 range, which was previously a support zone, and then at the 1.1140 level, which marks a previous significant high.

Traders should monitor these key support and resistance levels closely, as they could signal potential trend reversals or continuations in the coming week. Additionally, keep an eye on upcoming economic data releases and geopolitical events, as these may impact market sentiment and the EUR/USD exchange rate.

My View

I think Cable will range between 1.3085 and 1.3185 before resuming downwards to 1.2950. Seems Cable may be choppy this week.

EUR/USD dropped below Friday's low but recovered quick and now is ranging between 1.1042 and 1.1057 in the 15 min. chart. Monday will be a no event day as markets at the US are closed for holiday. More resistance is located at 1.1080 and support below todays low at 1.1038 and 1.1030.

Due to the absence of US market participation on Monday, EUR/USD experienced a period of low volatility, allowing the pair to climb from a low of 1.1041 to a high of 1.1077 before consolidating into a choppy trading pattern.

At this point, it remains unclear whether the current range will be broken to the upside or downside however, it is likely that EUR/USD will persist in a similar pattern until significant news or events drive the pair to break out and reach new levels like 1.1100 or 1.1030.

EUR/USD consolidated in a quiet session between 1.1059 and 1.1077 range. There are also no news today but it will be the first day of the week for the US open so I expect more volume to enter the market and show more clues about the EU trend. For now bigger timeframes say that the trend is correcting with a downward bias the trend it started from 1.0777. More support comes to 1.1041 and 1.1038/30. Resistance is at 1.1100.

Monday the US will celebrate Labor Day. Banks and most markets will be closed in observance of the Holiday so liquidity could be low on Tuesday as people come back from long weekends. This also is the official end of summer trading.
ISM Manufacturing and Services
ISM has two reports out this week, the Manufacturing PMI on Tuesday and the Services PMI on Thursday. The economy appears to be softening and both of these reports could produce a similar effect on the market. As the Fed has pointed towards a rate cut in September, we could be back to good news is actually good for the markets, so if either report comes in as a match or beat we could see the market react positively. If either report misses we could see the market react poorly. Because these reports are a few days apart it is unlikely that one will influence the reaction of the other. Both of these reports come out after the New York open so they could impact live trading.
JOLTS
Wednesday morning JOLTS is out, and this is a measure of job openings and employment strength. To show strength in the economy the reported number should be at or higher than estimates which this month is 8 million flat. This could cause some volatility around the release but is really more of a show of strength or weakness in the overall market.
ADP Employment
On the other side of the jobs opening report is the unemployment change. This week both ADP employment change and Non-farm payrolls are due. Similar to JOLTS the best result would be a match or beat of the estimate which this month is 136,000 job additions. If the number comes in weak then the market could start to sell off on a weakening economy. This would be good in the sense that it could confirm the need for rate cuts, but it would be a bad sign for the economy.
Nonfarm Payrolls
The final report out on the week is the government's payroll data, Non-Farm Payrolls. Similar to the ADP report above, any match or beat of the estimates could be seen as a positive for the economy and the market as a whole. This release will be particularly interesting for another reason and that is the recent BLS update to the previous payroll reports. It came out that payroll estimates were high by roughly 800,000 jobs, creating a material revision to the previous 12 months. This could be reflected in this release in that traders may not believe the data as it is displayed creating a discrepancy between the report results and the reaction.

The Pressing Need in Front of Monogram
In today’s surgical landscape, just 12% of knee replacement procedures are robotic, but by the year 2027, that figure is projected to rise to 50%. Like in many industries, automation in orthopedic surgery appears to be inevitable. Monogram appears to have positioned itself to capture a portion of a substantial $19.4B market with its patented robotic surgical system.
In 2021, there were 223,900 knee replacement surgeries – a number expected to more than double by 2027. 83% of these surgeries are currently cement-based. These procedures operate using standardized processes and prosthetics, and the end results are overwhelmingly unsatisfactory. If Monogram’s technology receives FDA approval for commercialization, it will introduce press-fit knee procedures – or cementless – as the new industry standard.
The company has the distinct goal of creating a high-accuracy saw cutting robot to allow for personalized implants and better patient outcomes. This focus on efficiency and long-term results has the potential to improve the process for both practices and patients.
An All-Encompassing Product Focus
For surgeons, Monogram’s technology could allow for patient-specific, pinpoint-precise procedures at previously unseen efficiencies. Outside of the automation of such an intensive task, this tech could unlock previously unseen levels of productivity and volume for this industry. Monogram made painstaking efforts to develop a system that could help surgeons execute their surgical plans as accurately and efficiently as possible. Its technology’s goal is to be a system that safely and accurately cuts regardless of skill level or experience.
The patient, meanwhile, stands to benefit from a customized procedure that’s designed specifically for their needs. As it stands today, 20% of knee replacements produce unsatisfactory results. The volume of knee replacement surgeries – almost 1.1 million per year – means these unsatisfactory results place further stress on the healthcare system to fix. For patients, Monogram’s focus on accuracy and safety figures to resonate exceptionally.
This dual value proposition helps further Monogram’s growth potential. If they are successful in their application for FDA approval, they will be able to bring it to market and begin commercializing their advancements. In light of the Zack’s projection of $6 a share, the preferred share offering priced at $2.25 per share offers intriguing upside.
Monogram’s Preferred Share Offering
