what would an EA do if you go from red arrow to blue arrow. and blue arrow to red arrow? that way we could trade a ranging market.

i tried your EA in back tester, but whatever i tried i got a losing streak over the month august. changed stoploss from 20 to 100 for example. did you got better results?

That EA is just a very basic example brother.

Selling from a red arrow and holding til a blue arrow (and vice versa) would have much more drawdown if the symbol continues to trend in one direction.

Wrong thread. That EA is not from this thread, nor will it trade based on the TMA-CG-2024's arrows.

What’s the misunderstanding? The original source code is from Mladen. He clarified that the random indicators (and edits) with his name in them are NOT his. That doesn’t change the fact that all the TMA source codes are derived from his original work.

No need to apologize, brother; no feelings are hurt. I think I came off a bit defensive, and I apologize as well. After your post, I actually edited Post #1 to clear up some of the confusion.

To clarify, the TMA-CG-2024 is an edit of the TMA-CG-Mladen-NRP. The TMA-CG-Mladen-NRP is not Mladen's, although it is based on his original 'TMA' code. Mladen's TMA and TMA-Centered are posted here -> https://forex-station.com/tma-triang...-t8423458.html

If I’m not mistaken, the original wasn’t called 'TMA' either, but Triangular Moving Average. I did see the 'feud' between Mladen and that aggressive FF member, and I mean no disrespect towards Mladen.

yes found now, thanks.

i am testing 4 level zz with adding 2 extra buffers but ended up having chart 'not responding' IF MTF MODE IS USED.
i wish that you can help me fixing it? i m learning coding but struggling all the time
shall i post the mq4 with its mqh file here or advice please.

JB, checking it out now for the repainting, but will need time as it only becomes really visible on a strong trend.

If colors are set on M1 - then change timeframe to M5 - then go back to M1 - the default color settings come back.
color settings aren't saving.

It's not the trading system, it's the trader. If you use the TMA to catch potential reversals, you may or may not have much success. But if you use it for pull-backs, the world is yours
