VIX at risk of a serious sellOFF??
the April low has definitively given way.
Now, however, the bearish progress of the indicator has overcome several previous lows, and in May there was also a bearish overcoming of the 2023 low.
May (16.22-11.52: 4.70; mid-level = 13.87; down target = 6.82 to be added to the other targets already listed in April 2023 **) is currently containing the two subsequent candles, therefore it acts as an inside.
In July, moreover, there was a fractional bearish overcoming of the previous month's low, confirming the existing bearish structure on all frames.
Only the pre-pandemic lows would remain intact.
At the moment, the structural trend and the analysis outlined in April 2023 seem to be confirmed, where a series of terminal (progressive) bearish targets are listed...

The key questions are always the same..
--In the event of a confirmed break of the 2023 lows and bearish validation of the May 2024 inside candle, would significant cash flows open up towards risk assets??
--Would this further (double) trigger temporally align with the start of rate-cutting operations??
--A clear break of the 2023 lows on VIX and a drop in interest rates would increase the frantic need to search for stocks with a prospective dividend much higher than the landing point of rates at the beginning of 2025 (a need that has already occurred in part after the break of the lows of April 2024)??
Would these elements constitute the first prerequisites for an exuberant irrational growth of risk assets??
On these assumptions, would the retail public build the rhetoric of the absence of riskiness in equity and in the most remote technology, then creating the perceptual gaps necessary for the construction of a bubble and its evolution??
