All valid points. I took profit and left one open just in case. I certainly think we havent seen the gold high yet but hoping there is time for a meaningfull retrace first and opportunity to buy again lower. The change in the mood at the moment may be short lived but I think the big players could facilitate lower move to buy back later. I struggle to buy at these levels. If we do shoot up from here I would try and ride it out.
Im fortunate to be able to buy and sell in the same account at the same time. So often have many positions open.
Its all just one persons opinion

If we get some retrace I will close before the weekend....could absolutely get something happen over the weekend

Dixie, we have a problem, while we expected the dollar to recover, the daily charts seem to show otherwise, (the vertical line is the 7th of October 23)

2428 was hit and pullback started.
Context remains quite bullish as you can see by looking at D1.
Once pullback is finished there will be chance to join bull party in another momentum trade.
2408 could be the culmination point.

You're right let's start the weekend earlier Monthey there is more looking for several assets we always have entries do make same profit.

It was a quiet day with no significant news and a narrow trading range. In such conditions, range-trading scalping strategies proved to be the most effective. The market is expected to continue in this manner until major news events generate sufficient volatility to break out of the current price range.

Next week's US CPI and Retail Sales data releases should provide more trading opportunities. For now, it's crucial to protect any open trades as we approach the weekend, given the market closure and the uncertainty surrounding Monday's opening prices.
