All Kinda suck today. Trying GBPJPY but its hard to get a read on as well lol just goes back & forth & entires are risky. I think i'll pull the champagne out early

The trading day started with a decline during the Asian session and early morning trade, with the pair reaching a low of 1.0876. The 1.0902 level is currently acting as resistance, preventing further advances towards 1.0920. If today's low fails to hold, the next support levels to watch are 1.0871/60.

Despite the drop following the ECB meeting yesterday, the overall uptrend remains intact as long as the pair trades above 1.0871. In this scenario, the 1.0948 level may keep the pair confined within a trading range. A break lower will find more support at 1.0846/40 zone.

Overall, it has been a mixed week, and market participants should continue monitoring key support and resistance levels to gauge the pair's next directional move.

Following three consecutive weeks of an upward trend, which stopped in a test of the 1.0948 resistance level, EUR/USD experienced a decline at Friday, closing near the daily low of 1.0775. Immediate resistance can be found at 1.0902. A successful breach of this level could pave the way for further upward movement toward the 1.0981 target. However, traders should be mindful of several key resistance levels along the way, including 1.0920 and 1.0942, which may hold the advance.

On the downside, support is located in the area of the 1.0871/60 zone. Should the bulls fail to maintain control over this area, bears may seize the opportunity to push prices lower, potentially reaching the 1.0800 level.

I am 74 and sleep sporadically as it is usual at my age. For me it is actually a good distraction to check the chart on the phone when I wake up several times in the middle of the night. Also, at my age, I donīt have a job waiting for me in the morning, so it works all around.

You can get around this somewhat by setting a limit order where the next pullback level should happen close to the 10 EMA.

You can also limit your trading to the daytime. There are plenty of opportunities during the London and US sessions to make a great profit.

I have another question regarding the TMA, which you also use.

mine is non-repainting, i have it from "george AUS" which I prefer as you can see on the chart.

is there a special reason why you use a repainting TMA?

Sorry guy, I did not say such a thing. Don't put words in my mouth. You better read more carefully. "Fail safe SL" What the hell is that? There is nothing fail safe in this business.
What I did say is:
1 - The Green MA is really only used for stop loss placement if you use a sl.
2 - I also said that I myself do not use a stop loss because I like to watch my trades.

EUR/USD rised at the opening after US President Joe Biden dropped his reelection bid but fluctuated up and down consolidating the gains below 1.0900. An advance above todays high at 1.09025 should lead to the next level of resistance at around 1.0920 but a failure to stay above should finally test the lower zone at 1.0871/60.
