Also have some USD data today with unemployment. If spike goes up short if it goes down join the ride. Thats where im at. I dont like playing ahead of time but if i did it will be supper small lot size and ill be ready to add later. Its a EUR news sandwhich with EUR as the bread and USD as the meat lol.

My sentiments exactly, TP'd at 72 from yday's long. Now ima wait for data, DXY hit a FVG on the weekly too so some retracement is possible + good data could see the $ recover some losses momentarily

Yes im all about people finding a system that works for them. Lots of thing can overlay with each other but there is one common thing that any scalper will have and thats good entry points and exit points pedro has a very good system for just that. I give pedro as much credit as i can. Call him professor pedro cuz he always be teaching me new things. To do what he does for free is pretty cool and im thankful.

When i look at the one hour and look for a channel this is what i have...left the other one up as yesterdays bottom price would be bottom of longer up channel which has held for a bit. Break that and i think down trend starts maybe.

You can only apply multi entry strategy on some very solid market analysis , I don't advise anyone to do it unless you really know what you are doing or your account will be history.
I have several students, some of them still hold positions from 1.07, it really depends on each situation. None of them has ever blown a single account under my watch.
Use very small positions don't let drawdowns over 3%-5% max, after that take the losses.
I don't want everyone thinking this is day to day business.
We are trading EJ on the monthly chart and Gold a combination of W1 and D1, bear that in mind.
You have to risk couple of hundred pips when you want 2 or 3 thousand pips.

Pedro, when the market goes against you more than 5% DD, do you ever advise hedging instead of taking the loss? I have rarely been successful hedging myself so I generally clean the slate...

I like to hedge when I am in profit 75-100 pips.
The problem with the hedging losses is an emotional one. If you can manage that, then why not.
