D1 Dixie, through the resistance and the liquidity and now in no mans land.
Need to see retrace all the way back before NY close or USD well and truly the stuff of bears.

There is speculation of a suspected Japanese intervention behind the Yen's surge. This is in my opinion what could caused this drop in USD which helped many othet pairs to rise against!

It's wierd, But an interesting explanation, it is likely that everything that is happening in the last few days is a deliberate external intervention, beyond the usual, the rise of the euro and the pound also seems artificial,
In this situation, of course the gold goes up,

Gold is purely up on safe haven demand.

Expectations of a rate cut + Trump event made investors loose confidence in the US economy do as usual people are flocking to gold.

EU would naturally react to any and all $ movements.

Its no so weird central banks are ruling! They have billions and can move the price 500 pips in a blink of an eye! It started after the last us cpi number dropped enough to draw attention! Then this guy from Bank of Japan - Kanda said in an interview... nothing about. If you notice the signals here ....for example he is always behind the microphone when a big drop is happening in the UJ I am sure you will understand!
