How you manage your trades depends on your Exit Strategy.
You must first decide your trade Exit Strategy before you place you trades.
If you have read and study those books I recommended you will develop your systems with different exit strategies.
There are 5 Exit Strategies I mentioned in my posts in this thread.

Types of exits:
1) Static Exit when SL and/or TP(s) hit.
2) Adaptive Exit when Percentage of ATR reached, R-Multiple reached, etc.
3) Trade Invalidation Exit.
4) Timed Exit, when the trade has exceeded its predetermine duration, no matter the trade result.
5) Psychological Exit.... mental exhaustion of the trader.
'set and forget' works best for 1) Static Exits and also 2) if we know how to.
My preference is the ATR-based R-Multiple exit .
If your trades are those True REVERSAL type trades you have you SL above or below the swing high /swing low and that is the risk 'R' for Position Sizing.
That is the risk 'R'
And the Exit Strategy using R and R-Multiple Exit Management, you would easily got a +2R trade if you simply use the 'set-and-forget' and let the market hit your TP @+2R. You move your SL to Breakeven when the price moved to +1R level...

As of your and others’ recent posts, I can say Emmanuel7788 is just a mentally ill troll. He has lost money in trading Forex for more than 12 years (according to his own post) and we saw him blown accounts on 2019.
We also see his followers turning their backs on him over the years.

I can achieve this in less than 4 years. I earned more profit to pay for this trip to Japan. I believe he can too. Also for you and others.

As I got more profitable trading TMS method, there is something I realise being a successful trader
1. No need to read or reply a hater’s posts.
2. Also no need to disprove others’ analysis/method/tools. Anyone can get success in any approach if done right
Trading better with TMS method, and earning sizeable profit (not much compared with millionaire traders), I would rather spend time sharing my trading, engage in meaningful discussion with others, and spend some of my profit (travelling, good food, etc). FF is just a forum with no real impact of your lifestyle or trades.
I believe if Emmanuel keep quoting and trash talking my posts and trades even now knowing I am ignoring him, we all know what he is not.
