hihi all,
Used to frequent FF. Work got in the way, and I forgot my old login.

I read Peter Crowns' work AGES back (more than 10yrs).

What I took away from DIBS is,
(1) Find the whichever instrument is moving
(2) Get on board with whichever method you can live with
(2a) Get out of 1/2 @ 1:1
(3) Trail it out until you get stopped out
(4) Repeat "(2)" to add on

Important:
It works best from pre-London to New York. Works on AUD, NZD & JPY from Wellington to Tokyo close for those pairs too.

Own experience: The 1:1 = Risk Free, is extremely liberating. No babysitting trades, whatsoever. This is perfect when you have the-rest-of-life to contend with.

I work these principles on the 4hour cause I dont want to be glued to the screen.
I can't do the Inside Bar thing (not enough confidence), but hey, it still works overall.

Just wanted to share some of the experience I've had with DIBS.
DIBS is nice, but a profit factor of 1.21 (or 1.27 without 1:1 trades) after more than 18.000 trades in a simulation is weak and not worth to trade it.

you should at least aim for profit factor 2 with your approach.
trading is like dancing, don't think and just listen to the music!

Curious question, from your dashboard, how would you pick the pairs going up / down the fastest?
It looks like the information is there, and just curious how you use it.

I've tended to zoom out about 3x (until the chart is all black...) to get a big picture.
If there's a whole buncha support/resistance in the way (like EURUSD now on the 4hour (which is my trading timeframe)), I basically will pass.
Too much work for the stress.

I just saw this now; well, the pair is picked by the Inside Day setup, the entry is governed by the breakout price, that is the generic model of Inside Bar trading method.

Nothing to do with S & R, news drives the price, not some fictional levels.

Think about it, are the basic fundamentals the same as they were last year, or 3 years ago, when price returns to a similar level?
