The EUR/USD climbed to 1.0841 following the mixed NFP job data release, as higher than expected June nonfarm payrolls were offset by downward revisions for May and April. Additionally, the slight uptick in unemployment and slowing wage growth suggest that the Federal Reserve may have more flexibility with its monetary policy decisions, potentially paving the way for a rate cut at the September meeting.
Moving forward, it appears that the pair could continue its ascent to test the 1.0844/52 resistance level. However, a failure to break through this resistance or maintain momentum above it could trigger a decline back below 1.0800, leading to a retest of the 1.0761/64 support area. This level previously witnessed substantial buying pressure, which could once again influence the market's direction.
Keep in mind that these resistance and support levels are not set in stone and can change over time based on market conditions. Therefore, it's crucial to monitor price action closely and adjust your trading strategy accordingly.
