Market is bouncing off after overbought M1, that in itself suggests deeper retracement. On W1 we have sell in progress, usually 38.2 pullback or even 50%. To sum it up quickly, first let's see 2260-30 for first major bounce up.

I waze hoping for bulls to came in to 1,7792 gap and 4 h divergence macd it append .

I am trend trading gold.
Here, price pausing again in the midst of the highs of an uptrend, especially its last 10months' power, stemming off even larger uptrend, covering on top of that another 10+- or so month prior to all the above
.I agree, first waiting to see if 2260 will be reached. But for now price is staying high enough in the trend and without enough signs of failing, yet.
The higher low and low of the last 60 some days might stay untouched, again, just like the low of the 60 some days prior to last main high volatility move (2000 - 2400).
For me, the uptrend is still that potentially strong, and is so as long as no comparable power is used by the sellers. So, is just putting more coal into the train for the next departure... until proven otherwise. Of course, without the consistent rise of the above said period, I would not trade this way.
Less choppiness = sweeter holdings.

EUR/USD consolidated above 1.0720 low it printed yesterday after a failure to reach above 1.0776 at US session. The downmove could continue at 1.0714 to close the hourly gap or some lower at 1.0706 low. If that last doesn't hold then it will open the road for 1.0685/67 weekly lows. From the other a successful bounce above the 1.0720/14/06 should first lead price at well know resistance of 1.0761/64 before 1.0770/76. A break above the last should meat 1.0788 S2 weekly resistance and 1.0800.
