I think it shouldn't, because the rule is there to protect investors and achieve diversification of strategies. You can have 10 accounts if you are able to trade consistently 10 different strategies. But we will find out soon enough...

Correlation depends on profits and losses NOT on instrument traded. Most likely all indices goes in one direction in one day more or less percentage wise.
Also same user correlation threshold is 75 and different user 95
So I can trade gold and you can trade dow if both moves in one direction 20 days in month one with highest ranking gets selected.
Also correlation is inverse too so if both DOW and NQ moves in one direction you can't short on one and long on another.
So only way to work on separate account is to trade them individually on separate days. if you are going to do that why to have separate account just trade one daily.

So I have one forex and one futures......will they be checking for corelation here as well? Completely different markets.....

Yes as technically one can go long both CFD and futures and also hedge them.
Only way to avoid correlation is not to trade them different days so there wont be any match.
Once darwin is created there is correlation tab. Chances of two different users with 95% correlation is pretty much not possible unless use same algo.
Also if you have two separate account and both of them are verified, you need to have correlation less than 75 percent. Chances of same user trading different account on same day 75% is too less, so high probability to be flagged as correlated.
Shouldn't be too difficult to trick a correlation algo by breaking up your trades into smaller sizes on one of the accounts; maybe use different take-profit sizes between accounts. If more is needed, then simply using a different time-frame for entries should be enough.

If these things do not work, then I would suspect that their correlation algo is not real.

Yea one may fool system on silver stages or till account is unverified but once trader is in golden they will closely monitor it.

Yes, but I am only trading the indices on futures and only currencies on forex, not doing the index CFDs. I'll see shortly, I am only keep the futures one anyway as I am really beginning to despise forex more and more on a daily basis.

You would think that if you trade only one pair like AUD/NZD on one account and GBP/USD on another account that the correlation bewtween pairs is low enough that you wouldn't get flagged. Maybe I'm looking at this the wrong way though

Lets assume pip value of both of them same. if you trade 1 lot with 10 pip stop and 10 pip target and if 75% of times both of them hit wins or losses at the same time it will be flagged as correlated. I was listening to one of the video where Darwinex was telling their intent is not to diversify assets diversify risk so if two pairs are trading similarly they will be at same risk.
They dont go asset by asset or trade by trade basis. Daily how much P&L is correlated for the month.
So if a trader makes 100$ daily with 10 trades of gold and another trader makes 100$ daily with 2 trades trading indices both of them are considered as same risk.
User correlation should be less than 75% (same user) and if different less than 95% for the month. It resets every month.

What if I scalp 20 trades on one asset for 100 per day and make 2K for the month, and then on another asset make 4 swing trades with 500 profit for 2K total profit for the month?

Strange they don't advertise that you can have multiple accounts but have a system in place to make it hard to get multiple funding allocations.

Also where is this correlation information on their website?

AND........(sorry you seem to know your DZero stuff), in layman's terms, what does having a 20% VaR mean to you.

Swing trade will have different P&L at the end of Day so it should be good also remember it is very unlikely unrealized profit swing trade different from closed scalps.

The VaR or Value at Risk is a forward looking way of measuring the risk of an investment which answers the questions how much you might lose, how likely it is, and over what timespan. So 20% VAR means if I have investment of 1000$ my strategy is likely to loose 200$.

I just realized the correlation is to keep people from copying other traders. Probably wasn't initially intended for traders with multiple accounts

The support guy told me my VaR for the past 45 days was still at 20%. I can't see how that's possible when my max drawdown during that time was only 1%.

Yes thats pretty much black box darwin thing. My gut feeling is if you have any single day with VAR 20% it will remain like credit history for 45 days (3 years credit score) I was trading 0.01 lots (2 trades daily) from last 2 weeks and My VAR is increased from 49 to 65%
Also one thing to be noted about consistency is trading 2 times 1 lot is not similar to trading 2 lots one time as per lot consistency (As per some youtubers)

That sounds about right. When I asked the support guy in our running email conversation about that 20% VaR he basically stopped responding. Almost like, I've run out of lies so I can't respond.

That's why I may open another account and trade exactly the same lot with exactly the same risk every single trade from day 1 to infinity.

They are smart not to have a Disocrd channel because it would be blowing up daily about the VaR issue

Thats the smart move. Opening new account and trade lot size like max 1 lot in 100K and keeping it consistent is the way to go rather than fixing existing account. As higher Dawin ratio more returns and less work.
