There are lots of working systems. With more than years of published result. Look at "Waka Waka EA" and "boring pips"

-Perhaps they should have considered rebranding under a different name. Since they are making Josh CEO, it shouldn't have been difficult to just say that Josh was buying them out and restructuring everything from the ground up. Would have given them a better foot forward, I imagine. Although, I suppose that they may have invested in marketing already.

In that case all I can say is that YOU ARE the problem, a bunch of them use pretty mechanical systems, the discretion is minimal like Scott Taylor, Sam KB is another one that is heavily statistic based. I mean IF you really have tested everything out and still don’t see anything that makes sense to you, you might as well give up.

I was just thinking about this last week, like why won’t they just tap Murtuza or other MFF guys as an investor. And now here is Josh as CEO.
I will try Funded Peaks again. I have great respect for the guy.

On the other hand, I am losing my patience with ACG. The news rule is just crazy, wait for a speech to end and trade 2 mins after that, and 2 news sources to check: forex factory and myfxbook. Can’t close trades you’ve been holding for hours during news/speech. If you trade during news, they will deduct the profit made and the rest of the profit will be paid the following payout period, and it’s not in the FAQ. People were clamoring for a change to the news rule and even asked for a swing account like FTMO’s— lower leverage but can trade news. What ACG did was sneakily lower the leverage, no announcement whatsoever, and kept the very strict news trading rule. Oh and funded account issuance and payout delays. There are people waiting for days/weeks and it takes forever to get feedback from the payments dept. Not sure what that was about. So far the discord mods and support are cool.

Alpha Futures looks promising though. They need to look good and competitive to get a big piece of the pie.
The COO, Ben, is young and likeable/charismatic.

Some people even say that Josh should have started his own prop using his prestige and knowledge, instead of trying to save a burned brand. I guess the deal was probably very good.

I think you can get one right away. I don't see how this will allow me to manage millions of dollars. With the calculator with a DD of -2% you can have a 5 month return of 35% and only get allocated around 30-50k , what's the point of this? and with my trading style the 15 day risk assessment will start me off looking bad, since I'm a swing trader, and haven't even gotten a decent swing trade in yet, just silly positioning trades that get stopped out, so the calibration is of course underestimating my abilities, it will take more like 70 trading days to really see how I trade. Right now it's like I'm the A's in the playoffs, Burns and Tejada are fouling away and striking out against the Yankees so far for my 15 days ( I havent watched baseball in a while)

-Yeah. I suspect that doing that would have cost quite a lot of time and money. Going this route, everything is already in place and he probably didn't have to spend a penny (maybe?).

Discord Question to josh...

What's you thoughts on the industry currently? Many firms vanishing, a lot of drama, what do you think is the main problem, and other than money, what are you going to do differently to avoid problems like that. Even other reputable firms like TFF and, at the time, TFT went under. What makes FP different?

If you read the link in the announcements I have specified the difference, when I took the leap with Peaks I had a few companies on the table to look at Pasquale and his teams work is the key value in the equation. There is more than just a website behind the company. The market itself has shrunk quite a bit because of things you have mentioned. One discovery is that size isn't the only measurement but quality is and in my tenure I will try to guide us down that route.


From strictly a web traffic stand point.. peaks has been really struggling in the market. I really like Josh, so I wish them the best going forward.

i love bucket shops n prop firms they help me save tens of thousand dollars………
if i have to flip my personal 2.5k to pull 2k out there is a higher chance i’ll fail… but on the other hand 2.5k worth of apex accounts my odd of pulling 2k is much much higher…..,,
btw success guys 50kx10 approved that means 20k in the bag …. This will fund the transition of 50k accounts to 150kx20 at apex

There is a cool stat i just checked i will hit 100k++ profits from prop firms with my next 50kx8 apex payout….. that in 5 months period coz i received my first ever payout in feb….
The real stat is out of which the nett profit after reinvesting in challenges will be around 70%…. The biggest reason is apex ate alot of my profits

1. 30k myflasgfunding
2. 6k fundingtraders
3. 9k total skilled funder trader
4. 13.5k myfundedfutures
5. 20k apex payout
6. 20k apex payout (approved)
7. 16k apex payout (upcoming)

Apex ate most of my profits -
Currently i am at 77 no. Pa that means 160$ x77 = 12320$ and 212 on evals lets take an average of 20$ x 212 = 4240 to grand total of = 16550$ spent till now and pulled HOPEFULLY 56k and many more to come

I love bucket shops too. We try them, we rave or bitch about them to share our experience with the group here, right? Then we move on.
Don’t know why he bitches when we’re bitching. Oh, in the guise of “caring” for us then moves on to brag about his trades, about his being owner/partner of bucket shops in the past long gone… pffff. Annoying old fuck.

2.0 is great. You did it the right way. Means you won't have any issue having enough leverage going forward. Unlike me, at 0.19, I'm running around like a castrated bull ready to hump anything that moves but I'm impotent.

YOLOing to get to that 75 rating and the first allocation is a huge mistake. Once you're put in risk reduction prison you're stuck in a subscription model with no way of knowing when or IF you'll ever get any leverage back. I've heard the engine takes 6 months to get to know your trading habits/style before truly being able to adjust the risk properly (uh huh, ok sure). In my case I traded for 45 days and never had a drawdown of more than 1%, no more than 2 positions opened at once, and no more than 3 total lots and they told me my VaR was still at 20%? Huh, what, really?
