What I wanted to add:

in every competition you compare yourself with the other opponent/team. this is even common in business between competitors.

but in trading this is counterproductive.

in my experience, the only thing that counts is what i do with myself, what goals i have, what is success or failure for me.

never compare yourself with others, because in trading it's like a deadly poison.

"the trader took the movement with him, i didn't. he made so much money today, i made less."

everything in the rubbish with such attitudes;-)
trading is like dancing, don't think and just listen to the music!

Not a lot has changed, so I am keeping my ongoing trades, atm good pullback going on for later sell off.
Apart from EJ (it does look to follow up on breakout) I am quite confident in continuation all round.
W1 USDx multiple targets.

good points. I myself find forexfactory less and less appealing the more there are members who judge others rather than themselves, bringing about even more closemindedness and lifeless posts.

In long positions with Yen pairs like EJ, arenīt you concerned that they could intervene at any time and you can get killed in a big drop?

I don't worry about anything! Place the trades according to techs, if it goes the other way there are stops too based on the same techs.
We have been waiting for intervention, most likely we get divine intervention first!

I am shorting not longing and only in anticipation of running of the stops.
I remember that day vividly... me and my colleagues closed all CHF trades after Draghi announced QE.

Till the intervention JPY pairs it's a good long play. I like that charts very technical (till the liquidity grab). I killed it last night in Asia time. Only mistake was I held shorts into close. Then had to get rid of them before i went long. Didnt make much off them. Passed the second phase on another 50k account tho in one night

For me, eurusd, from here and now, I mainly am hunting for 5min pullbacks birds, with a third of the days ATR in mind, at most

But need to stay >07 longer, or suffer new lows !!!

If price gaps thru your stop then it wont save you. Black swans are quite rare but are account killers, your broker is right

Price has to trade exactly at your stop level to be executed

That is precisely why I will not touch a Sell Yen trade at these levels. Buy Yen trades , no problem...
