Perhaps I should cash out on next jerk up to ...say 158.80 ...

According to the daily chart, USD/JPY will keep rising despite of it being overbought across all timeframes as a breakout happened. I see USD/JPY heading to 160.22

Don’t become trapped like those who sold below 150 thinking BOJ will intervene or that the rate hike will push it down instead it went up a 1000 pips, 160 is about to become history like 150 and price will rally above it and u will be holding sells and paying huge swaps everyday that eventually the swaps will eat your account and even if UJ falls it won’t help u coz or how much swaps u paid

USDJPY price action on the daily time frame is bullish. Presently, price action is tacking the 160.00 all-time high area.

Yesterdays small intervention was just a trap being set up for retail sellers to believe that BOJ will intervene if it goes higher but as u can see they intervened last time at 160 and price still came back up, smart money know there won’t be a big intervention and as price reaches 160, more and more sellers will come in, we could get a huge spike to the upside reaching 170-175, so hold your buys, plenty of dip buyers now ready to buy any dip

160 is NOT the all time high!!!!! UJ began trading in the 300s, The current floor is 157

Them speaking of an intervention is not an intervention. This is akin to the parent who warns of a beating but only gives it when things truly get disrespectful.

Posting this again so folks are in the know. The all time high for UJ was set in 1971 when the instrument started trading. Why then you might ask does MT4 not show this information? Perhaps because MT4 was invented in 2000 and distributed around 2005. At least according to Wikipedia

In short be careful of those the thought process that we are at all time highs because it will trap you into thinking that we are at a top, and we are not. November 1 1986 saw us at 163.03 That IMO is our current target or thereabouts. However if 164's get printed 174 is on deck.

BOJ Interventions....

This is a chart of the interventions. Verbal, and actual. IMO unless they are actively selling the Yen, the talk is just that.. Talk, and easily recovered from. The 1998 intervention ended with us at 75. 61.8 of the total move takes us back to 181.

Today could be the day where we get a huge short squeeze where price will spike up to 170-175, keep holding your buys, MM know majority of ppl aren’t patient enough and will close their buys for small profits so the short squeeze will happen without them, as for sellers they will hold waiting for intervention but there won’t be one and so their loss will fuel price to go higher and higher, keep holding your buys
