Hi all..thanks for the link.
Im a bit confused as to drawing th trendlines.
In an uptrend line (drawn right to left) you find two point whre the candle has a higher close on either side.
In some of the examples shown there were other candles in between the two that could have been used but werent.
Any reason?

Has anyone attempted to generate an indicator for this? I just started reading the materials and it seems to be fairly straight forward. Am I missing something?

Woooa !! I have been spending the last three days on this thread only and I have been able to read all the 130 pages. Really tiring though. But we need to make special efforts to acquire these new skills. I find the system really interesting and now, I will have to proceed to testing the technique. I wish to thank MT for his great share and all the others such as PF, J, DF etc for their precious help to the other members. What I feel a bid sad about is the absence of MT from this thread while he left some open ended questions unanswered. But who knows, maybe he is waiting for the right time to deliver the rest..

I want to make a especial appeal for the newbies (like me), dont be lazy since the very start !! Take some time to read through all the provided materials and do your reseach. So many stupids questions were asked and this brought disappointement and messed the whole thread.

As for the Demark book, anyone interested to read it can send me a PM.

yes! But I am gonna hold for now, I reckon it may test June 06 low one more time before moving up? Only say that cause I always like the bar prior to breakout bar to be a down close, fliter out exhaustion fake outs. A move above 1.2120 (on my chart), may see me jump in. Target around 1.2180.

I know this is too early in the week, but a really nice pin forming on the weekly, indicating a dollar buy.

Hi, there were 2 mouteki signals for AUDUSD to go south yesterday and the day before, but none of them did well. At least can you please let me know if there is any chance that the bullish trend is over, and despite all it will go south?

just had a look at this and i cant see the sell signal??
there was a buy signal yesterday...

have a look on my chart..the candle didnt open below my trendline hence no trade....hmmmmmm strange looks like a time zone thing

I have been following this thread from the beginning and like this method very much. I made a few trades and then lost everything i made on those trades using the 4-hour. I am now using the 1/2 hour with better success so far. I looked over the trades for this month and this is what i have. Maybe yall can take a look at this and tell me if this is what yall are getting or am i doing something wrong. This is on Interbank on a 4-hour chart. Any feedback would be appreciated. I do like the freedom of the larger time frames but can't seem to stay up with this.

Hi,

I've been reading the thread ( speed reading ! ) recently and think that maybe you have chosen the wrong low in your example for price projection. On my chart I would have chosen the low at 1.9463. I don't think that you necessarily have to chose a low/high between the chosen points of support / resistance, just find it under / over the trend line in the direction of trendline projection. This will affect your price projection and stop loss limits.
By the way, I looked at going long last night here ( UK ) after price opened above the trend line on H4, but declined since it was in the Asian session and there was possible dollar positive news out today. Since then cable dropped 100 pips and I would have been stopped out.Price is on the move up again and tomorrow could be a cable positive day. This brings into question whether stops should be moved during news. For me a stop of around 100 pips is too much to deal with so therefore I woud have to time any entries I made to coincide with days of insignificant news. My point is that this isn't a purely mechanical system. Some discretion is involved in gauging major trend, fundamentals and timing. I wouldn't enter against any of these. I'll be watching how this system trades but think I'll be sticking to a trend following system. I would say that if you are using a half hour time frame then you are following the trend also and entering on retracements. I might look at that as well as I like the M30 time frame also. Hope this helps.

based on mouteki daily breakout, eurusd should fall towards 1.2800 area... maybe takes 1-2 week more
