No I haven't tried the stack TDI because I don't find a need to change what I am already doing. I trade a few systems based on 1. what the market looks like to me and 2. which timeframe I want to trade that day. No struggling required, I love indicators

Hello,

Sorry if this is the wrong thread but this is the only decent looking forum link when I searched for TDI.

I've been using TDI for a while and wondering if there is a way to program the TDI indicator on MT5 to send alerts when certain line movements happen, such as the price line breaking or approaching close to the Bollinger Band line.

I use the 15m timeframe and have my phone alarms set for every 13 minutes. But this is a hassle. I would prefer to have an alarm go off when the price line is near where I want it to be.

That does not come free.

A few available at MQL Marketplace.

If you use MT4, RSI and BB alerts are free.

IF you follow the OP' post and trade news, then wait for that H4 candle to close at New York 9am, and check the trade setup conditions.

Both GU and EU have BUEOB price action setup at EST9am candle closed.

If you follow the OP' posts #1 and #281, then ...

you could have switched to the 1Hr and taken those trades.

All the systems you are trying ... none are Holy Grail. But you can keep on trying and struggling to make money until you have learn the OP' 5-Method and master trading the 5-Method.... then you have a chance to recover all your losses of many years.

You need to learn to read the candles on your charts and what they are telling you. Traders love indicators ... lots of them ... I have been through all that in the last 30+ years ... Indicators require the price data - Open, High, Low and Close... that is why indicators based on Price OHLC are lagging. Nothing wrong to trade with lagging indicators provided you know how to read your candles.

You have other pairs to consider too

- if you trade reversals and continuation setups this week

> you dont have to trade reversals all the time,

> there are many continuation setups after the True REVERSALs,

> they are HA candles #3, #4, #5, .... #12, etc....

How many setups did you missed yesterday?

Today is quite obvious when you make the transition to trade the 4Hr and the Daily....
we have reversals and we have many continuation setups after the reversals,
