Me neither! I'm especially sceptical of the buoyant labour market that they are trying to portray in every NFP's release.

Very good background. Maybe the 3% is the new 2%
This could give a reason for the rate cut and a totally change in plan for EUR/USD!
We still have the same problem:
Gold needs to go higher but so does DXY...
Unless there is something else one of my trades is not going to work!!

Well, went for a cheap short with 2 contracts in the MNQ.

 

  1. Entry: 17730.00
  2. SL: 17795.00
  3. TP: 17570.00 (yesterday's settlement)

Maybe the big boys are de-correlating gold from the USD for the benefit of the FF fund's bearish targets on EUR/USD!
JPY just hit another high today. BOJ will interject at some point here. I have taken a few sell positions from/between 156.940 to 159.910 - when it will come down there will be a great payout on these trades. Hoping it will be sometime next week, if not sooner!

I wish you all good luck with the XAUUSD - Unfortunately in the US the forex brokers have all dropped this pair so I can no longer trade Gold. Trying to find a way to trade. lol

My analysis on US Dolla being bullish is based on the positions i've been building based on my trading system. All of it are short vs US dolla, hence US dolla bullish.
Also i do not use timeframes below h4. Only H4 and Up.
How you exit from trades, is all that matters..

Dont see any reason to short yet and could go much higher, ya gotta have that patience thing
